Summary
• SIERA is designed to evaluate the readiness of a country for implementing NRA, by systematically identifying major hazards and disaster situation, risk studies, data availability, info needs and requirements, skills and expertise, institutional capabilities, DRR strategy, etc.
• SIERA produces a baseline for the monitoring and evaluation of the DRM progress in a country.
• E-Library developed is an integrated archive of documentation related to disaster risk assessment & management.
