Applies to the management of registered users for the administration of the VHL. In this section, it is possible to include,

to modify or to exclude users and passwords.

• The order of each component as well as the columns (depending on the VHL target) can be modified using the Component Administration, where all these items are available

VHL Site version 4.0 manage the system using "columns" subdivided in Components (or boxes), expanded up to 4 (four) columns, without limitation on the number of Components into each one, being:

Column 1 - links to other VHLs or interesting networks

Column 2 - Collection of Information Sources in the VHL

Column 3 - Area available for Highlights, news, etc

• Configuration of Meta search is essential for effective search on the Information Sources available in the VHL

• Its operation depends on the correct fulfilling of its parameters

• In the standard installation of VHL, some Information Sources already come shaped, but upon inserting a new Source the cited fields are empty, being necessary to shape them

Meta search – important observation

• Don’t modify the syntax of the parameters of the information source URL.

• Honor capital letters, with the exception for language (lang=) that should be always lower case.

• The modification of the syntax can generate a link error problem.
