History
After acquiring the historical site belonging to The
Greenery, WDP has developed a new warehouse site
along the Dierensteinweg to expand the existing
Retail DC of The Greenery. The new development
project also accommodates the logistics activities of
Hagé International, the import division of The
Greenery. For the existing packaging laundry of Euro
Pool System, where the cleaning of crates is
performed for The Greenery, a second new building
is being realized. By 2018, 65,000 m², developed by
WDP, will be available, finalizing the consolidation of
The Greenery’s activities at this location. The DC for
Hollander takes part of The Greenery’s own real
estate.

History
The location in Ridderkerk, was WDP’s first cooperation with the AGF-
sector. Within the framework of the 2008 Univeg sale and rent back
transaction, WDP acquired this logistic site (existing warehouse and
development potential), situated in the heart of the Netherlands’ fruit
and vegetable region. In autumn, a new warehouse was completed,
offering Bakker another 14,000 m² of storage and logistics space,
including office space. For WDP, this location was a first, namely, from
now on, a multi-floor warehouse became part of the portfolio.

A site for Staay Food Group close to Rotterdam.
Triggered by its continuing growth, Staay Food
Group, a company operating worldwide in the fields
of importing, exporting, wholesaling and growing
vegetables and fruit, wanted to centralize its
activities at this location. The acquisition of both the
existing buildings and a new building through a sale
and rent back operation was completed at the
beginning of January. Staay Food Group became
the third AGF-company, choosing WDP as its real
estate partner.

This location was part of the ‘Maasstede deal’. After
the delivery by real estate developer Maasstede of
the new warehouse for MRC Transmark, a supplier to
the oil and gas industry, WDP acquired this new site
in 2013. In the beginning of 2016, WDP acquired the
remaining part of the land and logistics real estate
from Maasstede, including two buildings in the
logistics segment of high security in Duiven and
Amsterdam, of about 5,300 m² in total, both rented
out to the Cash Solutions department of G4S for a
twelve-year period. At Bleiswijk, another 69,000 m² of
land is available for future development.

History
This site was acquired by WDP by means of a sale
and rent back operation in 2013, after completion
of the turnkey new-build project. The site covers an
area of more than 34,000 m² and is situated in a
prime logistical location along the A1/A30
motorway from Amsterdam to Hannover
(Germany). Nice to know: the PON transaction took
place at the same time of the disposal of the
Czech portfolio, enabling WDP to redeploy the full
proceeds of the latter into a similarly yielding assets
in The Netherlands leased on a long-term basis.

Multimodal hub in the Zwolle (Hasselt) region, which consists
of a container terminal of around 23,000 m² (on the basis of a
long-term lease for a fixed period of 20 years); directly
connected to this is a cross-dock warehouse of
approximately 10,000 m², which is leased on the basis of a
fixed 10-year lease to Westerman Logistics, a logistics services
provider for the Benelux region and Northern Germany. This
transaction was the result of a collaborative project between
Herstructureringsmaatschappij Overrijssel (HMO), Westerman
Logistics, Schagen Groep and Scania Logistics Netherlands,
as part of which WDP was asked to take over the site as a
strategic partner.

On September 23, king Willem-Alexander opened
wehkamp’s new distribution center in Zwolle,
allowing the Dutch e-commerce giant to offer
same day delivery to all of its customers in the
Netherlands. The distribution hub of around 53,000
m² can store more than 4 million products. The
products are ready for delivery just half an hour
after the order has come in. 40% of the electricity
consumption is covered by the solar field on the
roof, the warehouse uses seasonal thermal energy
storage and has an ecological garden. The
wehkamp distribution centre in Zwolle was granted
a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ certificate.
