1.1 Return submission categories: Warranty products will be submitted in one of two different categories. The first category will require documentation such as a return envelope for Lifetime Warranty product and a return envelope and Proof of Purchase for Limited Warranty product. Note - Returns that require Proof of Purchase must have copies of the original order and the service slip with the date of replacement inserted into the return envelope. The second category will be products that do not require documentation. These loose items may all be packaged into the same container. All products, documented and undocumented, will be inspected to make sure they meet the warranty program guidelines for return. Periodically, the return categories will be adjusted to meet the requirements of the Warranty Returns Department.

2.1 Special Warranty Coverage - Dog Chewed Receivers Non-operating Invisible Fence® Brand receivers with dog chews (please see section on definition of dog chew) will be covered under warranty. Once a receiver has been accepted under the warranty program for dog chew damage the replacement receiver must be installed in a chew cover for repeat dog chew warranty claims. Definition of Dog Chew: • A dog chew is defined as damage to an Invisible Fence® Brand receiver caused by the teeth of a

dog that renders the receiver inoperable. • Dog chews are only covered on Invisible Fence® Brand receivers within the warranty period for

that receiver. • The severity of damage ranges from a single tooth indentation on the receiver to one remaining

piece of receiver casing at least 1” by 1” in size. Evidence of teeth marks must be the reason for the missing pieces.

• A dog chew that has punctured through the case that doesn’t operate or operates will be cover under warranty (operating receivers with a punctured housing is at high risk of failure). Punctured by anything other than dog teeth will not be covered as a dog chew

Not Acceptable for Warranty Coverage as a dog chew: • Scratches, abrasions, and/or scuff marks on the receiver not caused by a dog’s teeth • Remnants of the receiver casing smaller than 1” by 1” in size • Damage caused by anything other than dog teeth will not be covered as a dog chew • Receivers that do not meet the criteria established for dog chew warranty coverage will be

returned to the sender.

The receiver above is not acceptable for a concrete rub. The abrasions are light and the receiver still operates. The receiver above is acceptable for a concrete rub. With the heavy abrasions, the receiver may not work or may work at a high risk of failure due to the deformed, punctured lid.
