To celebrate the Boston-area dedication and unveiling of the new 44–cent “Animal Rescue: Adopt a Shelter Pet” stamps, join Boston
Postmaster James J. Holland, WCVB TV’s Randy Price and photographer Sally Andersen-Bruce for a special reception at the Animal Rescue
League of Boston on Friday, May 7, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
The U.S. Postal Service is raising awareness of the need to adopt from shelters, and this special dedication and stamp unveiling introduces the Animal Rescue League of Boston’s special weekend-long adoption drive “44 Pets for $44”. Following the reception, the first 44 pets adopted will
receive a special discounted adoption fee of $44.
In celebration, adoption hours will be extended that weekend to:
Friday, May 7 · 11 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.Saturday, May 8 · 11 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.Sunday, May 9 · 11 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
