Member Associations are advised to log on to DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR, part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750 and submit the entries online: http://bwf.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/tournament.aspx?id=7285EA57-347D-4D3B-AD28-2EFBD4890DDB

You will require a username and password to submit your entries and this can be obtained from BWF. If you don’t have username and password, please contact Shan Ramachandran, [email protected]

The online entry page will close immediately on the entries closing date at 23:59 hours BWF Headquarters time (+08:00h GMT) and you are required to submit the entries on time. Late entries will not be accepted. No entry forms are required by Member Associations after the closing date, the BWF Online Entry System will send notification to all participating Member Associations confirming receipt of final entries. Receipt of this notification is the conclusive evidence of receipt of entries before the deadline. The Member Associations should contact BWF immediately if such notice is not received by Wednesday (next day of the entries closing date) by noon BWF Headquarters time (+08.00h GMT) following close of entries. If no objection is received by BWF by Thursday (second day after the entries closing day) 23.59 hours BWF Headquarters time (+08.00h GMT) following the close of entries, the entries shall be deemed to be correct. No complaints / objections shall be entertained after this point.

recognized by the BWF and any currently registered member of the Badminton Denmark.

Regulations: Please bear in mind the BWF Statutes, General Competition Regulations

(GCR) and BWF World Tour Regulations. Withdrawals: We kindly ask you to bear in mind the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750

regulations. Please ensure that we are informed as soon as a player is forced to withdraw, giving the reason. If withdrawal is notified by telephone it must be confirmed in writing. If withdrawal takes place after the draw is made, any withdrawal for illness or injury must be supported by a medical certificate. If withdrawal arises after your players arrive in Odense notification of withdrawal must be made by the Team Manager in person to the Referee and must be confirmed in writing. Please note: It is compulsory for all Team Managers to attend the Team Managers’ Meeting. You will be fined/penalised for failing to attend, in accordance with BWF Statute 2.5”.

Member Associations may make a request for someone to

Prize Money: DANISA DENMARK OPEN 2018 presented by VICTOR is part of the HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750 (USD 775.000). The amount will be allocated in accordance with the rules of the Badminton World Federation.

presented by VICTOR. Trophies: The Challenge Trophies held for the year by the winners will only become their

property on being won three times running or four times in all. In the case of all doubles, the trophies must be won by the same pair. The holders are responsible for the safe custody of the Challenge Trophies, which must be returned in good condition and free of charge to the Badminton Denmark, for last year’s winners, not later than September 18.

Ceremonies: Players are not allowed to wear hats or caps during the presentation

ceremonies. Rackets may not be carried during presentations. Tracksuits, or clothing as worn during play, will be allowed. No other form of advertising will be permitted. This regulation will be strictly enforced by our stewards prior to each ceremony.

Conditions of Play: DANISA DENMARK OPEN presented by VICTOR will be conducted following

the BWF General Competition Regulations and BWF World Tour Regulations. (in the event of any dispute, the decision of the Tournament Referee will be final).

Practice Facilities: Practice courts will be available upon request, from Sunday October 14. Teams

can request practice courts in advance. Upon arrival please confirm the practice plan made be the organizers. Request on practice courts in the practice hall can also be made at the Championships office upon arrival.

Practice in the Main Hall will be available Monday October 15 between 09.00-

22.00hrs. Practice schedule in the main hall will be prepared according to the team’s arrival details and size of team.

Massage: Massage will be available for players throughout the Championships during hours of play, free of charge. An appointment system will operate to ensure equal opportunities for all players. Teams may use plinths with their own physiotherapist as well.

Clothing/advertising: Clothing must be suitable badminton clothing. The Referees will strictly apply

the BWF Regulations which require players’ names to be on the back of their shirts and give the option of also having their country and/or advertising beneath the name. Please also note the BWF requirement; Advertising on clothing and colour of clothing shall be regulated by BWF General Competition Regulations 20 to 24. However, it is mandatory that double players wear the same colour from the start of the main draw onwards and that the opposing pairs in each match wear significantly different colours from each other. In the event that the opposing players/pairs involved in a match wish to wear the same coloured clothing, the player/pair ranked lower (using the BWF World Ranking used to produce the first Main & Qualifying (MQ Report)) will be required to wear clothing of a different colour.

Advertising: Please ensure that your players know and abide by Conditions of the

Prospectus. The Referee’s decision will be final. Please note BWF General Competition Regulations which makes it unacceptable to tape over or to pin on advertisements, nor in any other way to modify clothing to comply with advertising or other Regulations.

Media: On request players must be available (not to exceed 1 hour in total) on the day

prior to their first scheduled singles or doubles match of the tournament.

At HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750 tournaments, it is a condition of entry that each player must be willing to give on-court interviews for television immediately after a match whether the match has been won or lost, and to attend a post-match press conference on request.

Photo material: BWF has the right to use photographs, film material or any other image of

players taken during events sanctioned by BWF. Video recording: Written authorisation for the use of any video equipment must be obtained in

advance from the Championships Office which must be clearly displayed on the cameras. Security will confiscate cameras set up in incorrect positions or without a pass. Video recording by teams is intended for internal analysis purposes only.

Doping control: Drug testing of players competing in the tournament will be carried out through

random and targeted sampling.

Travel: Competitors from abroad are requested to inform the Badminton Denmark of time of arrival, flight no., etc. as soon as possible before arrival, according to the enclosed information.

Please route your journey to Copenhagen Airport.

If it is more convenient for you, we can also arrange pick up at Odense Central Station.

Transportation (pick up): Will be provided as a courtesy from Copenhagen Airport and from Odense

Central Station only to the official hotels. Please fill out the Transport Form, click here, not later than September 11.

Shuttle Service: A courtesy shuttle service is available between the hotel and the Venue for

participants and officials staying in all Championships hotels. Shuttle service will be available from Sunday to Sunday during your stay in Odense.

Non-playing personnel: In accordance with agreement with the BWF, the number of accompanying

officials for whom there will be accreditation depends on the size of your playing team. Accreditation: Entry (accreditation) to the arena for players and officials will be controlled by

colour coded name badges (id-cards). Badges will be issued to all nominated players and officials.

If you wish to change your booking please inform the reception desk at the hotel by 11:00AM at the latest, incurring a charge only for the actual stay. If you cancel a room or if you don't check in, the price for the first booked night will be charged.

Visa: Do you need a visa to Denmark? If you do, we shall gladly assist you in getting

a visa. Just fill out the Visa Form, click here and Nicolaj Knudsen at the BAD office will issue an official invitation that should enable you to get your visa and if necessary contact our Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address any problem emerging.

• 75 euros per person for athletes

• 60 euros per person for coach, team manager, official, physiotherapist or accompanying person. Entry fees are not including meals. Entry fees are non-refundable if the person does not attend the competition or is classified as NE before the competition. However, fees are refunded if there are not enough entries to have a competition.

• Any accompanying person using our transport and official hotels must pay entry fee. Without entry fee this person cannot use the services and exclusive rates for hotel.

• Participating in the Denmark Junior Youth Tournament. We play all levels.

• Evening meal, Junior T-shirt and free access on the days you play to top badminton.

• Transport between playing venue and Odense Sports Park where the main venue is located.

• Easy and affordable access to sleeping quarters at a local school incl. breakfast on the days you play.

ELIGIBILITY: Participation in VICTOR DENMARK JUNIOR presented by DANISA is open to members of any National Association recognized by the BWF and any currently registered member of the Badminton Denmark. All players from beginner to top level can participate. Each player can participate in 2 categories. Everyone’s welcome to participate. Youth players can visit the DANISA DENMARK OPEN presented by VICTOR with their parents and still play themselves at the same time. It is the badminton experience of the year. And it is all placed in the national holiday week in Denmark, so a lot of other things are going on as well. The city has a cultural explosion of offers this week. ELIGIBILITY: Participation in VICTOR DENMARK SENIOR presented by DANISA is open to members of any National Association recognized by the BWF and any currently registered member of Badminton Denmark. The tournament will be played in the following two levels and ages groups:
