Alpha Nu Omega Alumni Chapter Business Meeting Minutes August 11, 2015 -Meeting called to order at 6:39 pm by Polaris John Branch Jr. -Bro. Scott Dalencort led the brothers in prayer. -Bro. Gibbs Hightower IV led the Recitation of Stars. -Bro. Freddie Green Jr. made a motion to accept the agenda with flexibility and t was moved and properly seconded by Bro. Hightower IV. (Motion carries) -Bros. Anderson Peeples and Torrey Harris introduced themselves to the brothers. -Bro. Torrey Thompson made a motion to approve the minutes from the July meeting. Minutes can be found on the secure section of www.houstoniotas.com. The motion was moved and properly seconded by Bro. Green Jr. (Motion carries) -Treasury Report -Beginning balance of $2214.73 -deposit of $169.32 (from PayPal) -payment to Bros. Green and Manuel for NPHC Toiletry Bags-$47.43 -pending payment $150.00 to Ensemble Theatre PayPal-$201.45 Chase-$2336.62 Total-$2388.07 -Community Service -Alief Literary Event was a success. 6 brothers attended the event which allowed children and families to get school supply. -August 29, 2015 Community Service will be to attend registration for the American Red Cross. Email will be sent with instructions -St. Jude’s Give Thanks Walk will be held September 26, 2015. National/Regional Iota Information -Polaris Branch Jr. has been named National Director of Community Service -Bro. Allester Taylor has been named Southern Region Intake Coordinator
