Getting to Iowa SpeedwayExit 168 off I-80 in Newton, Iowa. 30 miles east of Des Moines, 80 miles west of Iowa City.To arrive at the Speedway safely, pay attention to traffi c control offi cers and message signs in the Newton vicinity. Traffi c may be diverted to alternate routes; traffi c control offi cers will direct you. Please plan to arrive at the Speedway several hours prior to race time to avoid traffi c congestion and delays.

Iowa Speedway Rules and Policies

Accidents:If you are involved in or witness an incident during your visit, notify the nearest security guard, usher, or contact the Speedway operator at 641-791-8000. Please allow emergency personnel to respond to incidents promptly and without interference.Alcohol Policy:If you choose to drink alcohol during your visit to the Speedway, please do so responsibly and be considerate of your fellow fans. You must be 21 and present a valid photo ID with proof of age when purchasing. We reserve the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any person, for any reason, and will contact police if we believe you are acting in a manner that is contrary to the law or that may endanger yourself, others or any property.Golf Carts:ATVs, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters and mopeds are not permitted within Speedway property without proper credentials from the Speedway.Pets:The only animals allowed inside the Speedway property (except those which are part of an event) are guide dogs to aid the visually impaired, signal dogs to aid the hearing impaired and service dogs to aid the physically disabled. Re-entry:Iowa Speedway allows visitors to check out and re-enter the facility during race events. To do so you must have your Grandstand or Suite ticket scanned by Gate staff before you leave so it may be re-scanned on your re-entry.Security Police:Uniformed police offi cers and Speedway security are stationed throughout the facility to ensure your safety. Should you require assistance, please notify the nearest event staff employee. The appropriate person or agency will then be sent to your location.Smoking:Smoking is only allowed in designated areas per the Iowa Smoke Free Air Act.

Prohibited Items:All carry-in bags, blankets, sleeping bags and similar items are subject to search by Iowa Speedway when entering the facility. Prohibited items (see page 7) or contraband discovered during security inspections must be returned to the owner’s vehicle

or discarded. Items may not be left at the gate. Unlawful items discovered during security inspections will be reported to the authorities. Any prohibited item discovered inside Iowa Speedway will be confi scated. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

• Aerosol Cans

• Alcoholic Beverages

• Animals (except service animals)

• Bottles, Cans or Other Containers

• Beverage Containers

• Balloons or Beach Balls

• Chairs of any Style

• Coolers

• Explosives

• Fireworks or Missile-Like Objects

• Food

• Glass Containers of any Style

• Illegal Substances

• Laser Pointers

• Noise-Makers: Bells, Bullhorns, Whistles & Other Items

• Projectiles of any Style

• Skateboards

• Sticks, Bats, Poles, Clubs

• Tripods

• Umbrellas

• Weapons: Guns, Knives, Mace, Handcuffs, Nightsticks, Blackjacks or Other Items

• Other items in the judgment of the Iowa Speedway management that may pose a safety hazard or diminish other fans’ enjoyment

Iowa Code states: Licenses may not allow patrons to bring liquor onto the licensed premises

FacilitiesAutomated Teller Machines (ATMs):Locations include: backside of Ticket Booth 1, backside of Ticket Booth 2, near turn 4 and inside the Newton Club.

Credentials Offi ce:Is located on Tunnel Road off of Lincoln Street. All credentials must be pre-approved and in your name. You will be required to present photo identifi cation. The Credentials Offi ce will close at the start of all race events. Sanctioning body registration is located at the Credentials Offi ce.

Elevator:The elevator is located in the center of The Newton Club. Patrons must display the proper Suite Level ticket, Party Deck or Speedway credential to access the elevator.

First Aid/Fan Care Center:Mercy First Aid/Grandstand Medical Center is located in the yellow building behind Rusty Wallace Grandstand.

Information/Guest Services Booth:Our Guest Services Booth is located just behind Ticket Booth 2. Guest service representatives will be available to provide you with general information, assist in acquiring transportation, lost and found, and other event-related services.

Trams:Trams will pick up patrons at Ticket Booth 1 outside of Turn 1 and drop them off in the infi eld Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area. Trams continue to run all day. Trams will also run to the campgrounds. Hospitality clients will have a tram running for them until the Village closes. NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE TRAMS.

Hospitality Village:Located in Turn 1 just south of the grandstands. There is a tram that runs from the Hospitality Village to the infi eld Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area.

Main Gate and Ticket Booth Locations:Ticket Booth 1: (South) Behind Rusty Wallace Grandstand.Ticket Booth 2: (Middle) Behind The Newton Club & Will Call.

Lost and Found:Lost & Found articles will be submitted to the Information/Guest Services Booth located behind The Newton Club. All items will be held for 30 days pending their claim. We will return items if the claimant sends a letter describing the lost item. When ownership is confi rmed, arrangements will be made for the return of found items. For information regarding lost articles, call Iowa Speedway at 641-791-8000, Mon. - Fri. from 9am to 5pm.

Restrooms:Public: Located behind the grandstands throughout the facility in the yellow buildings attached to Concession Stands, along with many portable restrooms around the facility.

Individuals with Disabilities: The Assisted Restroom is located on the side of the Rusty Wallace Grandstand Restroom Building.

Baby Changing Stations: Available in restrooms nearest to Rusty Wallace Grandstand and in main restrooms.

Family Restrooms: Located in the Restroom Building behind Rusty Wallace Grandstand.

Souvenirs:Race day merchandise will be sold throughout the concourse. The Iowa Speedway Gift Shop located in the main offi ce off Rusty Wallace Drive is open daily other than race days. Hours of the Gift Shop are Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm. Call the Gift Shop at 641-791-8024.

Towing Service:If towing service is required on Iowa Speedway property, call the Iowa Speedway offi ce at 641-791-8000, or contact our 24 hour towing partner directly: Barney’s Wrecker & Crane with Auto & Truck Repair at 641-792-1505.

Will Call:Iowa Speedway tickets purchased up to 10 days prior to an event will be sent to our customers by U.S. Mail. Tickets ordered after the mailing cut-off date will be held for pick up at our Will Call Window at Ticket Booth 2, located just behind The Newton Club. A photo ID is required to claim tickets.

Individuals with Disabilities Seating:To reserve seating for individuals with disabilities, contact the Iowa Speedway Ticket Offi ce at 866-RUSTY-GO (787-8946).

Reselling of Tickets:Iowa Speedway strictly prohibits the resale of ticket(s), at any value, on Iowa Speedway property. If you are unable to use your ticket(s), do not attempt to sell the ticket(s) on Speedway grounds. The sale of Iowa Speedway tickets or credentials on Speedway grounds is in violation of Iowa law. Tickets and credentials will be confi scated and the seller(s) will be removed from Speedway property.Reschedule & Postponement Policy:In case of postponement, please keep your unused ticket(s) or ticket stub(s) to re-enter on the rescheduled date. Iowa Speedway does not refund or exchange tickets under any circumstances.

Hospitality OpportunitiesLuxury Suites:Our suites are located on the 2nd and 3rd fl oor of The Newton Club building in the Main Concourse. You must have the appropriate wristband and event suite ticket to enter the Suite Level. To receive the proper wristband, present your suite ticket at our Luxury Suite/Newton Club Check-in Area located near the Concession Stand. Suites will close 60 minutes after the conclusion of the day’s fi nal event.

The Newton Club:Benefi ts include indoor club and outdoor start/fi nish line chair back seating, preferred parking, pre-race access to designated areas in the infi eld and Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk areas.

Hospitality/Party Decks:Iowa Speedway’s Hospitality Village and Party Decks are an ideal way to entertain employees, clients and other groups, whether large or small. Our hospitality packages include chalet-style tents, tables and linens, access to the Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area, a company logo/sign and many other exclusive benefi ts. Each person receives a wristband at the Hospitality check-in which allows them to enter the Village and Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area. For more information, contact the Sales Department at 641-791-8000.

Other AccommodationsCasey’s General Stores Fan Walk:Fans can get closer to the action by purchasing a Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk Pass. The Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area is shaded in orange on the map (see page 10). The Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk Booth is located on the back side of Ticket Booth 1 behind Rusty Wallace Grandstand. Children age 12 and under will be admitted to the Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area at no charge

and must be accompanied by an adult. A Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk pass also entitles you to a free shuttle ride to and from the Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area. Shuttle boarding is located behind Rusty Wallace Grandstands next to TURN 1 hospitality. Re-boarding is located where you were dropped off in the Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area.

Guidelines To Follow:• Iowa Speedway reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk area at any time.

• Iowa Speedway reserves the right to deny the sale of Casey’s General Stores Fan Walk Passes to any individual according to race sanctioning body rules/regulations.

• No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the tram.

Driving Schools:Iowa Speedway provides fans the opportunity to drive a NASCAR Sprint Cup style stock car on our 7/8 mile tri-oval. Driving schools available are the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience (racewtihrusty.com), Max Racing Experience (iowaspeedway.com) and SCCA Personal Driving Experience (dmvrscca.com). For the latest driving school information, visit iowaspeedway.com.

Traffi c and Parking InformationTraffi c:Traffi c to our events can be heavy; plan to arrive to race events 3 to 4 hours prior to the race to help avoid traffi c delays. Check iowaspeedway.com under “Traffi c and Parking” 2 weeks prior to all events for traffi c updates.

Before the Event

I-80 Exit 168 — Turn Right on Rusty Wallace Dr

• Right Lane: General Camping RVs, vehicles with trailers, TV

• Center Lane: General Parking

• Left Lane: Newton Club, Suite owners, season ticket holders, ADA

Alternative for eastbound Newton Club, Suite owners and North lot season ticket holders, I-80 Exit 164 — Although a longer route, this will save you time and goes directly to your lots. Take I-80 Exit 164, go south on Highway 14 and follow signs to speedway. Total extra distance, 5 miles.

Exiting After the Event — Authorities will divert traffi c from the north end of the Speedway west on Rusty Wallace Drive to I-80 Exit 164. All other traffi c will exit the lots from the south end on Speedway Drive to I-80 Exit 168.

Parking Guidelines:Proper hangtags are required to enter the following lots: ADA, Luxury Suite, Newton Club, Reserved and Preferred. We remind you to secure your vehicle and belongings at all times during your visit. RV parking is only available in our camping areas.

Free General Parking — Available at Iowa Speedway on event days, you will be parked in the best available spot upon your arrival.

Bus Parking — Free and paid bus parking available, call ticket offi ce for details at 866-RUSTY-GO.

Individuals with Disabilities Parking — The individuals with disabilities parking area is outside of ticket booth 1, noted by the circled wheelchair symbol. Please display your state-assigned parking permit in the window to be admitted. We will check to see that the permit holder is in the vehicle before letting you park. The hard surface lot will be for wheelchairs only. The overfl ow lot to the South will be for all other individuals with disabilities. Spaces are not reserved and are available on a fi rst-come, fi rst-served basis. When the individuals with disabilities lots are full, you will be directed to a general parking lot. Shuttles will run to and from the overfl ow lot only.

Individuals with Disabilities Shuttles — Shuttles do not operate in the hard surface parking next to grandstands or in the general lots. The shuttles operate in the overfl ow lot just south of the hard surface before the event. Only persons with disabilities, along with their companion to assist them if necessary, will be allowed to ride the shuttle. After the event, there may be a wait due to heavy traffi c; shuttles will operate only when Speedway offi cials deem it is safe. Shuttles will leave from Tickets Booth 1

Luxury Suite/Newton Club Parking and Check-In — Newton Club Members, Luxury Suite Owners and Suite Guests will have access to Luxury Suite and The Newton Club parking areas by displaying the proper hangtag. (Note: Parking on the asphalt lot is subject to availability.) Parking is located in the northwest corner of the facility accessible from Rusty Wallace Drive. To receive the proper wristband, present your suite ticket at our Luxury Suite/Newton Club Check-In area located at the main entrance to the Club.

Motorcycle Parking — There is a concrete lot located west of the concert stage, reserved for motorcycles.

Camping InformationCamping is a great race tradition and we offer several camping options outlined in the following pages. Please visit our website at iowaspeedway.com or call 866-RUSTY-GO (787-8946) for rates, lot location and space availability.

Directions:Blue Ox Trackside Camping: Take Rusty Wallace Drive and check in at Reserved RV Check-In/Guard Post.

Blue Ox General Camping: Follow the signs on Iowa Speedway Drive.

Camping Hours: Gates open at noon, on Thursday prior to the fi rst event of the weekend and close at noon one day after the fi nal event of the weekend. Gates are closed each night from midnight through 7am. Admittance and set-up are restricted when gates are closed.

Camping Rules1. Grandstand admission is permitted only with the purchase of an

RV/Grandstand gate pass. Passes are good for one admission using Ticket Booth 1 or Ticket Booth 2.

2. Charcoal fi res are permitted only in a standard outdoor cooking grill. All fi res must be contained by fi re-safe structures.

3. Dogs are permitted, but must be kept on a short leash at all times. Owners are responsible for removing pet waste.

4. Place your trash in trash bags on the side of the road by 8am each morning. All trash will be picked up by noon that same day (weather permitting).5. Weapons, laser lights, fi reworks or any fl oating balloons are

not permitted.

Terrace Premier Camping Rules:Five rules listed previously and:

1. Each person must have a Terrace Premier RV pass regardless of age. A maximum of 10 persons are allowed on each spot.

2. Guests, blankets, chairs and signage are not permitted on the grass banking in front of any RV parking area. Violators will be subject to removal from the premises and termination of their season pass.

3. Tow vehicles may be parked at your area and must be within designated spot at all times.

4. ATVs, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters and mopeds are permitted, with proper credentials. For information, contact the Ticket Offi ce at 866-RUSTY-GO.

5. First row RVs must lower fl ags 30 minutes prior to start of race.

6. First row campers are not permitted to sit on top of RVs.7. No tents of any kind are allowed.8. RVs must have a working bathroom (no pop-ups, school

busses, etc.)9. Visitor parking will be located in employee parking just

northeast of the reserved campground entrance.

Camping OptionsBlue Ox Trackside: Trackside Campers can enjoy one of racing’s most unique views from a Trackside space along the Speedway backstretch. Spaces are 25x50 feet. Call 866-RUSTY-GO for information on event weekends.

Blue Ox General Camping: General camping is primitive and has no water or electric hook-ups. Spaces are 25x50 feet. In addition to camping rules listed above, ATVs, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters & moped are not permitted.

IOWA SPEEDWAY SEVERE WEATHER PROCEDURESBe a true fan! Know your weather plan! In the event of severe weather during an event at Iowa Speedway, here’s what you should know:

l Iowa Speedway may not provide adequate protection from extremely high winds, tornadoes or lightning.

l Personal protection is everyone’s responsibility.l Be proactive. Plan in advance what you, your family

and friends will do if severe weather approaches the track.

l You should monitor the weather very closely and take necessary precautions to ensure your safety.

l There is no basement or approved tornado shelter on property.

l We recommend you take shelter where you feel safe based on your circumstances.

l The American Red Cross recommends that if you are caught outdoors and cannot quickly access a shelter, it is best to get into a vehicle and buckle your seat belt until you are able to get to the closest shelter.

l The American Red Cross recommends that if you are in your car and fl ying debris occurs, stay in the car with the seat belt on. Put your head below the window level and cover your head with your hands.
