What is Proxy ?Meaning = power to act in behalf of others.

Proxy works as middle server between the client and other server.

• Analyzing data , Filtering data according to policy.

• Storing previewed pages for easy access in the future

• Hiding your IP address in order to keep you safe.

Scenario when ever we click on a web browser , actually we are broad casting our location to the entire web .

Now we will see how to hide our self

The IP Address functions as your address which shows the exact location of your PC.

Example : you can not access servers for a specific country

Now what happens if a hacker know your IP address ?

So now to prevent this we introduce IP Hiding in proxy

Proxy

A Proxy is a method of filtering all your traffic through a deferent IP Address so your real IP Address remains hidden.

It prevents your computer from being traced.

It’s a good method of accessing a countries specific sites with out being in that country
