ADSL PPPOE Traffic Flow Procedure Customer dials using the PPPOE protocol that includes
customer account and password information. BRAS accepts the customers’ dialup request, and then using
the radius protocol, Synchronize the account/password and speed information from the AAA server, Authenticate.
If the account and password is correct, BRAS will assign a dynamic address to the customer. Customers get the internet access services through the PPPOE protocol and BRAS controls the speed of customer internet access.
If the account and password isn’t correct, BRAS Refuse the customer’s internet access request and disconnection link.
