Credit Card vs. iTunes Account vs. Nothing
The iTunes account will be the conduit through which apps are downloaded to the iPad and through which LTSD will provide codes for school-purchased apps.
All students have been given instructions on how to set up the district-provided iPad with the district-approved iTunes account.
FYI--iTunes cards are the simplest way to add money to your account if students want to add music and personal apps to their account.
