Works in redundant with another system for changeover at failures. Continuous data synchronization between two console units through LAN link Provided with voice recording and voice playback facility for PC announcement. Equipped with hardware and software for taking data from various Train Information systems. Video out for CCTV information system. Communicates with each system placed in the station.

6 Data Communication HUB Routes the signals coming from either of the two Control Console Units to the destinations namely Train arrival/departure display boards, Coach guidance display boards. Checks the integrity of packets and drops corrupted packet from transmission. Checks the link with each system and passes the status to CCU. LED indications for communication health status. Is of multiport serial communication with all ports are of optically isolated communication.7 Data Communication HUB The serial port connection to the coach guidance is of daisy chain. It will poll CGDBs at regular intervals for status. Even in case of failure of one unit, the communication to others is not affected. The connectors are mate-able to extend the communication link in case of repair or removal. Diagnostic routines are provided to operator to know the faulty ports. Both MDCH and PDCH are interchangeable.8
