When both interfreq and interrat measurements
cexist, which will be the choice to be measured ?
This command tells us that whenever my
interfreq HO doesnt occur for any reason, my
second priority will be InterRAT, because my
first option is InterFrequency.

In Rural Cluster phase we can observe a slight increase in IRAT HO, however
we can see that it happens exactly at the point when InterFreq HO increase
slightly.

In Rural Cluster phase we can observe a slight increase
in IRAT HO, however we can see that it happens exactly
at the point when InterFreq increase slightly.
The reason for this, is because my interfrequency
Neighbor existed already for this clusters, however, my
second carrier was blocked. Causing that when
interfrequency HO was needed, it was sent automatically
to InterRAT HO, because it did not occur.

In Urban phase we can observe a high increase in IRAT HO. Proving that when
interfrequency neighbors for all urban areas existed, and second carrier was
blocked my interfreq fail happens in grater ratio, so my interRAT will increaseas well.

Analysis
In Urban phase we can observe a high increase in IRAT HO.
Proving that when interfrequency neighbors for all urban areas
existed, and second carrier was blocked my interfreq fail happens in
grater ratio, so my interRAT will increase as well.
The reason for this is the same as rural, since
my InterFreq neighbors existed, my IRAT HO
increase because my second carrier for thewhole Urban RNC is blocked, causing more
IRAT HOs.

After deployment, we can observe that IRAT HO stabilize, and my
interfrequency HO increase.

After deployment, we can observe that IRAT HO
stabilize, and my interfrequency HO increase.
Why does this happen? Since TGU RNC
second carrier is deployed, and is never
blocked, my IRAT HO seem to stabilize,
this is because most of my interfrequencyHOs are succesfull since my second
carrier exists.

Because the SET HOCOMM command is set to
Interfrequency, and logically have more
Interfrequency attempts than IRAT attempts,
whenever all of this attempts are unsuccessful,they will be handed to IRAT, causing this te
increase.

Why set the new command?
When we set to priority InterRAT, We need to remember
that IRAT HOs occur less than Interfrequency HOs.
This will cause that whenever IRAT HOs isunsuccessful it will be handed to InterFrequency,
causing less IRAT events.

Conclusions
Whenever the Oriented Handover is set to
InterFREQ, it will increase IRAT HOs because
the have more InterFREQ HO events,
consequently more Handovers will be handedfrom UMTS to GSM.
If we set the Oriented Handover to INTERRAT, I
will have less IRAT HOs since all unsuccessful
IRAT will be handed to INTERFREQ cells.
