A-5 FOOT OVER BRIDGEA.5.1 Earth work in excavation for casting foundation of stair case in all type of

soils, weathered rock, existing footings, removal of boulders, concrete,ballast, stone etc including protecting the excavated sides, if required, tillconcreting, bailing out water to keep the area clean and dry duringplacement of reinforcement and concrete till the concrete sets finally. Theitem includes the cost of disposal of all spoils, dismantled materials,surplus earth for all leads and lifts, and to keep the work area neat andtidy during the work and thereafter. Payment shall be made based onapproved plan dimensions for PCC below pile cap/foundation.

The cost of backfilling around the pile cap/foundation and restoration of road, if required shall be included.
