Appendix A: Notes and Known Issues

COULD NOT LOG IN - BADGE ID DOES NOT WORK.

Make sure you are typing ‘teacher’ in lowercase. If your badge ID and ‘teacher’ does not work, please contact the Customer Care Center.

APPLICATION HANGS WHEN USING A DIFFERENT LOGIN ID

Sign in to iRespond with the same user that signed into the workstation. The iRespond application attempts to stores files (exams, classes, etc) in the “My Documents” folder of the current user and these two login IDs (not passwords) must match.

CANNOT FIND MY TESTS, CLASSES, ETC ON MY DESKTOP/LAPTOP

The iRespond user is local to the machine where the application is installed; exams, classes, and password changes made on one machine will not transfer to another automatically. See your champion for instructions on how to transfer files from one workstation to another.

WHAT ABOUT DISTRICT EXAMS?

When available, district exams will be copied to your X:\ drive under the EduTrax folder. Instructions on how to administer these exams will be provided at a later date. If you do not have an X:\ drive, please contact the Customer Care Center.

CANNOT PRINT FROM iRESPOND

The vendor is aware of issues printing to some printer models. The current work-around is to use the ‘Print PDF’ feature to export to a PDF file and then use Adobe Reader to print.

AUTO-IMPORT NOTES- Contact the Customer Care Center if you do not see the ‘DailyRoster’ option- If you did NOT install the application you will need to re-run the ‘Install - iRespond Part 2

(Hardware)’ application icon from the Launcher prior to configuring Auto-Import.

STUDENTS CANNOT LOG IN TO SESSION

A session must first be started before students can log in. Make sure students are logging in with the right PIN/Username. During a session, you can check a student’s PIN by hovering the mouse over their name in the Users pane. Make sure the remote has been added to the remote list.
