IW Metering Programme Phase IChallenges & Solution

Challenge 1: • Identifying All of the In Scope

and Out of Scope Properties

Solution 1: • Local Authority Use of GIS and

GI Data including GeoDirectory and OSi

• LA Classification 1,2,3,4

Challenge 2: • Identify which in Scope

properties were suitable for a Phase 1 Meter Installation

Solution 2: • Local Authorities Pre -

Installation Survey • Provision of detailed Survey to

IW based on Geo Building ID

Challenge 3: • Selecting Suitable properties

and assigning into Efficient Work Packages

Solution 3: • Translating LA Survey into IW

Meter Rollout Job Plan type• LA Survey linked to IW

Connection Point/Premise by common GeoDirectory Address Point ID
