Iroquois people lived in longhouses. Ten or more families lived in one longhouse.

The Three SistersIroquois women grew corn, beans,

and squash. These were called the three sisters.

The Big Hunt

Native Americans also hunted for their food.

Some animals they hunted were:

deer, turkey,

bear, buffalo, rabbits, and

geese.
