Symptoms•Symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome include abdominal pain, a bloated feeling, gas (flatulence), diarrhea or constipation and mucus in the stool.
•It is important to see your doctor when having those symptoms.
•Ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease are forms of IBS.
•People who have IBS may have abnormal serotonin levels.
•Food can cause bloating in people who have IBS.
•Stress bothers your Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
•Hormones around the time of a woman’s period may make IBS symptoms worse.
•Age (under 35), Gender (Female) and family history increase your chances of having IBS.
•IBS might make it hard to be with your friends and family.
•IBS may make sexual activity painful.
