graduate

of the University of Connecticut, where

he

majored in economics and account-

ing. A fter serving in the Army Finance

Corp, he entered the life insurance field.

earned

C.L.U. degree

1958,

opened

his

own agency

in

1960,

and

became a licensed

(N.A.S.D.)

securities

salesman

in 1962. His

extensive business

and financial dealings
