Third Edition

Description of Changes

The following tables describe changes contained in the Third Revision of the ISAGO StandardsManual (GOSM Edition 3). All changes are described as changes to the GOSM in relation to thecurrent Edition 2.

The first table highlights the significant changes in this GOSM revision. Subsequent tables provide alisting that identifies and briefly describes each individual change.

All provisions are updated to the 2013 - 2014 versions of the IATA GroundOperations manual (IGOM) and Airport Handling manual (AHM).

Reference to ITRM was replaced with the reference to IRM.

General

Provisions simplified and consolidated; total number is reduced; duplication iseliminated (to the extent possible).

IGOM references were added to all GOSARPs as applicable.

General

Sections 2 – 8

Sections, Passenger Handling (PAX) and Baggage Handling (BAG) wereconsolidated into Passenger and Baggage Handling section (PAB). Severalstandards from BAG section were moved to HDL.

GSE Operations was re-located from ORM-HS/S to HDL.

ORM Section

(ORM-H, ORM-HS,ORM-S)

GOSARP related to risk management was upgraded from Recommended practiseto Standard.

New Recommended Practise related to GDDB and IGOM was incorporated.

Standard that addresses management and control of documentationsystem completely revised to account for the use of an electronic documentationsystem (EDS) by many providers; new Table 1.1 added to describe the elementsand applicability of the three types of documentation systems.Training syllabi from Edition 1 (from GM of Edition 2) were incorporated into thestandards wording, now part of the respective tables.
