15:00 - 16:00 Farewell party Keynote Session: FOSTERING MANUFACTURING ENTREPRENEURSHIP THROUGH TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION AND SKILLS, is dedicated to discuss how to bundle existing resources and competencies in manufacturing technology innovation / transfer, engineering education and industrial technology research, within a format that promotes entrepreneurial culture and foster growth of entrepreneurship in manufacturing sectors of Serbian industry, with globally competitive performances and long term sustainable results. It is our job to aid industry to innovate! Notes: 1) KIC on AVM = Knowledge and Innovation Communities on Added-Value Manufacturing; Call for creation of the KIC on AVM launched by the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) on January 2016; Fully integrating higher education, manufacturing technology research and business in Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs); The vision of KIC Added Value Manufacturing is the European Industrial Renaissance; The vision can be achieved by the world-wide lead in research, innovation, education of the most advanced manufacturing technologies, including manufacturing processes, systems, factories and logistics; The KIC Added Value Manufacturing will develop these technologies with associated products and services into smart European industrial operations for sustainable value creation in global supply chains. KIC on AVM will consist of several Collocating Innovation Centers in Europe, each with a focus on a specific topic; KIC Collocation Centre SOUTH will integrate regional research facilities, education formats and innovation processes in one joint environment with a best in-class infrastructure and specialists from industry and academia in one place.

2) Following the Executive Programme of Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Italy and Serbia for the years 2016 – 2018, the bilateral project: Human - Robot Co-Working as a Key Enabling Technology for the Factories of Future, project ID: PGR00221, coordinated by the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna – The BioRobotics Institute and the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, CyberManufacturing Laboratory, is approved for financing as a project of Particular Relevance in the field of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies. The project is aimed at bolstering the bilateral relationships between Italy and Serbia in the domain of advanced manufacturing technologies, namely robotics, mechatronics and factory automation, following the successful collaborations which were established between the two Countries; This domain is recognized as especially important for fostering technological readiness of Serbian companies and manufacturing entrepreneurship, and thus enhancing the general

ambient for further sustainable development of economic relations through more intensive collaboration and partnerships between Italian and Serbian industrial companies, especially in high-value added manufacturing. The project addresses human-robot co-working for the factories of the future and is structured along three general objectives: 1) Joint research and technological development activities, 2) Knowledge transfer via dissemination and educational initiatives, and 3) Long term sustainability.  Acknowledgement: With the contribution of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, General Directorate for the Promotion of the Country System (Con il contributo del Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, Direzione Generale per la Promozione del Sistema Paese).

3) Italian Cluster INTELLIGENT FACTORIES – CFI is a key national research programme in the domain of industrial technologies, dedicated: a)to create and organize a long lasting Italian Manufacturing community able to propose research agendas, generate research results and valorize research outcomes (currently, more than 300 members); b)to connect national and regional research policies with international policies, and to facilitate the Italian participation in European initiatives; c)to suggest direction for the transformation of the Italian manufacturing sector towards new product - services, processes, and technologies in order to take advantage of the Italian resources and strengths and exploit new opportunities. The idea is to extend the CFI to the regional level through establishing the Cluster Fabbrica Intelligente Club in Serbia.

4) Survey Study on Investment Opportunity in Serbian Machine Tools Sector is conducted by Confindustria Serbia and Aliquo Investments agency. The most important findings will be presented for the first time, together with the tailor made actions for supporting manufacturing entrepreneurship in Serbia by latest manufacturing equipment, including cnc, industrial robots and similar manufacturing equipment and systems.

The NTPS Program is conceived and coordinated by the Committee for Technological Platforms, established by the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia - AESS in 2010 with a goal to implement long-term research and coordination activities on strengthening and re-engineering of technological foundations of the industry of Serbia, based on its extensive multidisciplinary engineering resources and a firm connections with scientific and educational institutions, industrial companies and industrial expert associations. The second task set to the NTPS program is the establishment of a new formal framework for acting in the domain of integration processes of Serbian industry into the technological and economical space of European Union.
