The event is part of a full schedule of cultural and tourism events organized by the Ministry of Culture celebrating Manama’s selection as Capital of Asian Tourism 2014.

Vienna Boys’ ChoirVienna’s youngest ambassadors give over 300 concerts and performances each year in front of almost half a million people in Europe, Asia, America and Australia. Today there are around 100 choristers between the ages of ten and fourteen, divided into four touring choirs. The Vienna Boys’ Choir strives to create an environment in which boys can fully develop and realize their personal and musical potential.

TroyFire of Anatolia Dance Troupe dazzles the historical myth of TROY in a spectacular live production that blends modern dance, ballet, traditional oriental rhythms, folk dances and special effects. With no less than 64 dancers to the stage dressed with beautiful costumes, every minute bursts with tremendous energy.

China National Acrobatic TroupeThe renowned China National Acrobatic Troupe was founded in 1950, and actively blends Chinese tradition with innovation. As a result of the company’s 7th decade of artistic experience, this enchanting family event combines acrobatics, music, dance, drama, Chinese Kung fu, and theatrical magic. To date, the troupe has won 48 gold medals in a variety of domestic and international acrobatics competitions.

H.E Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, Minister of Culture presented the hounour award to Mr. Al Muharraqi during a ceremony at the Culture Ministry’s stand at the 16th Bahrain International Book Fair. Artist Khalid Al Muharraqi was honoured with Mohammed Al Banki Cultural Personality of the Year Award.
