FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Islandia, Long Island, NewYork (October 11, 2012) GM Systems represented Cirtek/Silicon Link and Agile Microwave Technology Take a look at some of the highlights of our second trade show of 2012 season sponsored by the local Long Island chapter of the Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA). The Long Island SMTA Expo and Technical Forum were held on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012. The trade show and conference was held at the Islandia Marriott Hotel (3635 Express Drive North, Islandia, NY 11749). The conference presented a series of lectures describing the state of the art and advances in Surface Mount Assembly, test, optical and x-ray inspection equipment, bleeding edge SMT components, automated equipment, cleaning technologies, and current counterfeit detection by leaders in their respective fields. The MINI Trade show with over 80 suppliers of Surface Mount Assembly, components, test equipment and automated assembly services was well attended with over 150 attendees. We shared a booth with Walter Becker of WJ Becker a renowned sales representative in the Metropolitan NYC area who was nice enough to accommodate us as the show was overbooked.
