Day 1: Introduction To Risk Management Concepts
• What is Risk Management & why is it important?• Scope of ISO31000, Terms & definitions• Risk Management standards, frameworks and methodologies• Implementation of a Risk Management framework• Understanding an organization and its context• Revision & trial exam questions
Day 2: The Risk Management framework and process • Risk identification• Risk analysis and risk evaluation• Risk treatment• Risk acceptance and residual risk management• Risk communication and consultation• Risk monitoring and review• A test and revision on the elements learned during the day
Day 3: Certification Exam and Workshop • Presentation of IEC/ISO 31010 Risk Assessment Techniques• 2 hour certification axam• Practical workshop on implementing ISO 31000 in your organization
APPROACH
The training program is based on theory and practical examples:
• Lectures include examples from real scenarios• Review exercises to assist exam preparation• Tests similar to the certification exam• The number of training participants are limited to benefit from the
practical exercises.
CERTIFICATION
Candidates can obtain a certificate issued by the independent certification body PECB (Professional Evaluation and Certification Board), accredited by ANSI/ASSE under ISO/IEC 17024.
Participants who successfully pass the exam on day three of this course, and comply with all PECB requirements, earn the 31000RM credential indicating that the individual is a Certified ISO 31000 Risk Manager.
