Calling all Key Clubbers! Next week is Key Club Week and we want YOU to celebrate with us! Check this issue out for more deats on what to do for KC week. Also, the last day for dues is November 19th. Please get them in by then (or preferably sooner!) in order to be officially registered with the club.

MESSAGE FROM THE EDITOR

Dear Key Clubbers, With fall in full swing, y’all need to bundle up before you catch a cold (like me haha). Again we have a ton of events available for everyone to sign up for! The Team Survivor NW auction and Community Roots event are both happening this Saturday the 8th, and the Bunka no Hi set up (and the actual event) will be about a week after that. If you’re waitlisted, make sure to check back on the day of the event in case there’s an opening. The last day to register for dues is Nov. 19th so GET THOSE DUES IN!!! Key Club Week is also going on now. Come to the meeting to learn more about it! As always, hope to see y’all at the meetings!

Bunka no Hi Set Up November 15th (Saturday) Location: 1414 S. Weller Street, Seattle, WA 98144 Time: 12:00pm – 5:00pm Leader: TBD

Description: Bunka no Hi celebrates Japanese and Japanese American heritage and culture with performances, children’s activities and workshops. Help set up before the actual event the next day. Help with the set-up of tables and rooms, general clean-up, stage and audio set-up Team Survivor Northwest

Auction November 8th (Saturday) Location: Hilton Bellevue (300 112th Ave SE Bellevue, WA 98004) Time: 4 P.M. - 10 P.M. Leader: TBD

Regular auction duties.

Community Roots: Habitat

Restoration and Service

Project November 8th (Saturday) Location: Seward Park Time: 10 A.M. - 2 P.M. Leader: Carmen Phu (206) 370-4027

Description: Build great habitat for birds and humans to restore health to one of the oldest forests in Seattle! Tools, gloves, training, snacks and coffee provided.

More Events! Bunka no Hi November 16th (Sunday) Location: 1414 S. Weller Street, Seattle, WA 98144 Time: Varies depending on shift Leader: Carmen Phu

Description: Bunka no Hi celebrates Japanese and Japanese American heritage and culture with performances, children’s activities and workshops Tasks: Greeters - 4 volunteers per shift, Activity Monitors – 15 volunteers per shift, Stage Assistants – 3 volunteers per shift, Volunteer/Performer Green Room monitor – 2 volunteers per shift. Shift 1: 10:00am – 2:00pm Shift 2: 2:00pm – 5:00pm Shift 3: 4:30pm – 6:00pm Green Lake Gobble November 23rd (Sunday) Location: Green Lake Park (5900 W Greenlake Way N, Seattle) Time: 8:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. Leader: TBD

We will be helping out at the finish line area.
