These are the superb photographs and photographers who have been accepted into the first masters of print exhibition. The exhibition will be held at the Robert Burt Gallery at 57-61 Union Street, LONDON, SE1 1SG from Tue 5th – Fri 15th Dec, (10.00-16.00, closed Sat & Sun), with an opening and private view on Monday 4th December from 2.00 p.m.
Although the PAGB are looking at the possibility of staging the exhibition at other UK venues, this is the one to visit. Do, please, make the effort, most people can do London and back in a day by public transport. There will be a a unique souvenir badge for every accepted entrant who attends and who signs their photograph in our commemorative catalogues.
We will publish the photographs in e-news and on our website, but not until the London exhibition closes. See it first in its intended setting, resplendent on the gallery walls, in our specially commissioned frames. We promise that you will be glad you came. I will write soon, with details of the private view, to all who have a print in the exhibition.
The Robert Burt Gallery was opened in November 1999, primarily to offer degree level art students a bright, professional space in which to exhibit their work.
It is situated within walking distance of the Globe Theatre, the Jerwood Space gallery and the Tate Modern this area is the new heart of cultural London.
