Welcome Back for Term 4 Welcome back everyone, I hope you had a chance to take some time off and maybe even catch the supercars race last weekend. We have commenced the term with continued building works across the school. Weather and product supply issues had delayed some of the work but all contractors are working really hard to complete the works as quickly as possible. The installation of the new school sign has also begun. The footings have been poured, with the installation of the sign itself to be completed shortly. Thank you everyone for being patient while all the work is being undertaken. Throughout 2019, we have been collecting information and creating a report which is used to evaluate our school across all areas of the School Excellence Framework. This task has been undertaken by our entire school and has taken many hours of work. Yesterday was the final component of this activity. Our schools EV team met with the External Validation panel who independently reviewed and assessed our school against the School Excellence Framework. The team confirmed we are achieving well across all areas of the School Excellence Framework and congratulated us on the work we do. Thank you to everyone who has assisted in this process and validating our great school. In accordance with WHS guidelines, a lockdown procedure was undertaken today. Our students and staff followed the procedures perfectly, remaining calm and sensible. Our students especially should be commended for their actions and knowledge of procedures. The safety and security of all students, staff and visitors is a priority. We regularly conduct drills such as lockdowns, evacuations and bushfire procedures throughout the year to ensure everyone knows what they need to do should a situation arise. Tick Season Tick season is upon us again. Ticks occur in humid, moist bushland. Please be vigilant during this time, check your children regularly and seek assistance if required.

Welcome Back for Term 4

Welcome back everyone, I hope you had a chance to take some time off and maybe even catch the supercars race last weekend.

We regularly conduct drills such as lockdowns, evacuations and bushfire procedures throughout the year to ensure everyone knows what they need to do should a

situation arise.
