Manuel HilaSenior Data Visualization Specialist and Trainer

Manuel Hila is a Senior Data Visualization Specialist at The KPI Institute, the global authority on KPI research and education.

His professional background in multinational companies enabled Manuel to develop his intercultural management

skills, as well as his teamwork and communication skills. Within Siemens Wind Power Denmark and BMW Group Germany, Manuel gained thorough experience in project management, performance management and supply chain management, as he was in charge of reporting and monitoring KPIs, and also of international negotiations, risk

management, purchasing, logistics and externalization. Thus, he has learned how to

address cultural differences and how to cope with difficult situations, while also becoming aware of the importance of teamwork.

Manuel has become interested in performance management while pursuing his Bachelor’s degree at the Aarhus Business Academy, Denmark. In his Bachelor’s thesis he addressed the topic of outsourcing within Siemens Wind Power A/S.

Subsequently, for his Master’s degree in International Business Administration and Foreign Trade at Worms University, Germany, he authored a Master’s thesis in which he analyzed and discussed the curricular and extracurricular aspects as factors that influence performance in universities.

Moreover, the topic of performance management in German universities as a model of best practices for Romania was also discussed in his graduation thesis for the Master’s program “European Projects Management” at the “Lucian Blaga” University, Sibiu.

Manuel is also a certified trainer and he holds a professional certification in Key Performance Indicators. He also participated in research projects conducted within Worms University, thus identifying his interest and passion for this domain.

Registration cancellation procedure

Any withdrawals have to be announced at least two weeks before the beginning of the course, through fax or e-mail. In this situation, the attendance fee will be refunded, less $400 retained for administrative expenditure.

The attendance fee will not be refunded if the withdrawal from the course takes place less than 2 weeks before its start date. If you find yourself in the impossibility to attend the course after the registration process is already completed you may delegate another person to attend the course in your place without any further fees charged. If you have confirmed and made the attendance fee payment but you didn’t attend the course, the course attendance fee will not be refunded.

If you attend the course only partially (one day or a limited number of sessions), you will not benefit from any attendance fee reduction or refund.
