Established in 1961 by president John F. Kennedy.

He set the goal to send a man to the moon.

He formed a group of people that had the task to find a way to make it happen.

This was called the Apollo program.

This was set in Houston, Texas.

History

There are 13,000 workers.

They are training astronauts in special facility's.
