Selection Process and Timeline Participants to the iTaste Program are identified through a rigorous selection process that will evaluate their academic performance as well as leadership competencies.
1. Colleges are encouraged to internally screen and pre-select their nominees before submission of application forms to Kraft Foods Philippines.
2. Applicants will be evaluated by the heads of the Human Resource Department of Kraft Foods Philippines based on their academic record, leadership competencies, awards and achievements. The panelists will also interview and evaluate them based on several desired competencies.
3. Ten (10) Participants per University will be selected by Kraft Foods to participate in
iTaste and will be grouped in two (2) teams of five (5) that will represent the University in the business challenge on October 21 – 22, 2010. Confirmation of participants also confirms their attendance to the 2 day event. It is the responsibility of the university to ensure participation of the student.

Mechanics of the Business Challenge
Participation in the iTaste Business Challenge entails reading the official mechanics of the competition in full. Joining entails unconditional agreement to all of the terms and conditions of these official mechanics. Moreover, participants agree to any and all of Kraft Foods’ decisions with regard to the iTaste Leadership Development Program and its competition, iTaste Business Challenge as final, binding and irrevocable in all aspects.
iTaste Leadership Development Program The iTaste: I Take a Step Towards Excellence Program is an annual leadership development program that gathers 60 of the most promising graduating students in the country for a two-day intensive business challenge experience. It will introduce the students to the latest trends in building the business and delicious ways of growing leaders. You will be given a unique opportunity to prepare yourself in becoming future leaders of the industry that will complement your academic learnings. Kraft Foods believes that it begins with solid foundations. Through iTaste, we will be engaging you with deep consumer immersion, shopper interaction and product innovation – fundamentals that will give them that delicious edge. You will be coached by one of our excellent brand managers throughout your journey and will be exposed to the Kraft Foods Philippines Leadership Team and Senior Leaders from Asia Pacific. You will learn best practices from the different functional heads of Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain to give you a real-world cross-functional perspective of business management. Delicious and exciting learning avenues surely await you.
iTaste Business Challenge The business challenge allows participants to identify and address real-world business scenarios by acting like a brand manager of one of Kraft Foods’ top brands. Each team will be assigned to a brand and will address a key business opportunity. They will be coached by one of Kraft Foods’ world-class brand managers. Participants will be immersed in strong fundamentals of consumer insight, shopper interaction and product formulation. Teams will then be presenting their proposed solution to the opportunities identified for each brand.

Team Composition Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. (Kraft Foods) will be selecting ten (10) representatives per University from the nominees sent by each participating school / college to participate in iTaste and will be grouped in two (2) teams of five (5) that will represent the University in the business challenge on October 21 – 22, 2010.
Attendance to Events Attendance of the ten (10) representatives is required during the September 18, 2010 cocktail night and program opening. Attendance of the participants also confirms their attendance to the 2 day event on October. It is the responsibility of the University to ensure participation and attendance of the student. In the event that a student will not be able to make it to the abovementioned dates and events, the school has to notify Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. in writing that the selected representative cannot attend. Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. reserves the right to select a suitable alternate from the pool of nominees from the school. Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. reserves the right to disqualify teams that fail to attend as a complete team in any of the abovementioned dates. However, Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. also reserves the right not to disqualify teams in which a team member has a pressing, urgent, legitimate reason to leave last minute such as accidents, hospitalization, force majeure or personal emergencies.
Criteria for Judging The judging criteria are established beforehand and will be applied throughout the duration of the competition to evaluate the individuals and the teams:
Analysis, Strategic Approach and Alignment with the Brand: 25% Understanding of the Consumer and Shopper: 25% Innovative, Breakthrough and Creative Thinking: 20% Implementable and Executable Solutions: 20% Presentation, Creativity and Teamwork: 10%

Panel of Judges The panel of judges will be composed of the Kraft Foods Philippines Leadership Team and Senior Leaders of the Kraft Foods Asia Pacific Organization.
Prizes The following will be awarded to the respective winners based on the decision of the panel of judges: BE ONE OF THE TOP 5 INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS Be awarded an extraordinary opportunity to get exposure and learn from our Senior Leaders at the Kraft Foods Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters in Singapore Be offered a chance to be part of the Kraft Foods Graduate Traineeship Program PRIZES FOR THE TOP 3 TEAMS The Winning Team will be awarded Php 50,000 1st Runner Up will be awarded Php 30,000 2nd Runner Up will be awarded Php 20,000 PRIZE FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF THE TOP TEAM The University of the Winning Team will be awarded Php 100,000
Presentation Guidelines Presentation guidelines will be revealed to the participants on the September 18, 2010 cocktail night and program opening.

Fair Play Rules: Participation of Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. Employees and Interns Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. respects fair play and friendly competition. Hence, participants cannot be current employees, trainees and / or interns of Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. at any point during the competition. Students who did an internship with any of the brands that will be tackled in the competition also cannot participate. Participants should also not be related up to the second (2nd) degree of affinity or consanguinity to any current employee of Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. Participants cannot have contact whether directly or indirectly with the employees of Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. or any of its partner agencies assigned to the brands for the purpose of seeking help with the competition except their assigned coach. Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any team who violates any of these fair play rules.
Participation of Professors and University Personnel The support of university personnel and professors should be limited to theory and must not relate to the Business Challenge itself. Unauthorized or excessive assistance will lead to team disqualification.

Rules on Information, Privacy and Confidentiality: Use of Personal Information Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. upholds the privacy of the personal information in all the accomplished forms submitted by the participant, school and university. It will not share the information to any third party. Use of the information will only be limited to internal use of Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc.
Media Coverage Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. and its partner agencies will cover the event through both picture, video and other formats needed and all coverage will be the property of Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. and can be used by them in any way they see fit, including but not limited to documentation, PR, advertising or trade purposes. In this regard, participants hereby waive their rights to any fees or compensation in relation to the use of their names, likenesses, videos and photographs taken during the entire process and proceeding of the iTaste Leadership Development Program and its related activities.
Confidentiality Obligation of Information Gained During the Competition The participants will treat as confidential any confidential, proprietary or other non-public information, materials, or samples that it obtains, sees, hears, reads, or otherwise learns during the course of the iTaste Program that relates to Kraft Foods or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries, or its products or brands, whether obtained from Kraft Foods, any of its affiliates or subsidiaries, or a third party at the direction of Kraft Foods.
Rights to Use any and all ideas The participants irrevocably grants and assigns to Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. as owner the copyright and all other intellectual property rights to all ideas, concepts, presentations, reports and all other materials produced and generated by the teams and the participants during the course of the iTaste Program.
Disqualification
Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc., may, at its sole discretion, disqualify a team and / or any of the team members for participating if the team or any of the members violate or disregard these official rules or acts in any unsporting or disruptive manner.

Miscellaneous Kraft Foods reserves the right to modify or amend the mechanics of the iTaste Program at any time without prior notice to any person and shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever in respect of any cancellation, modification, suspension or delay of the iTaste Program. Kraft Foods and its affiliates and subsidiaries shall not be liable to the participants in contract, tort or negligence or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs or expense of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by the participant and which is of indirect or inconsequential nature, including without limitation any economic loss or other loss.

Guidelines for Submission
1. Each college should only submit ONE (1) Official Nomination Package to Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. Attached should be the following:
a. Official College Nomination Form signed by the official representative (Dean or Director) with full contact information
b. Duly accomplished application forms of each student containing the following: i. Student Application Form – Top sheet
ii. Certified True Copy of Grades and / or Most Updated Transcript of Records
iii. Most Updated Resume with 2x2 Colored Photo iv. Essay Forms
2. The Official Nomination Package (complete with all requirements) should be sent by
through either: a. Email: [email protected] on or before July 30, 2010 no later than 5:00 p.m.
OR
b. Postal mail or delivered to the Kraft Foods Philippines, Inc. office on or before July 30, 2010. Only submissions postmarked on or before July 30, 2010 shall be considered. Hand deliveries will be accepted no later than 5:00 p.m. of July 30, 2010. Deadlines will not be extended.
3. Student applicants are responsible for confirming the accuracy and veracity of all
information submitted.
