Home Page is displayed

To manually enter an item, click the CCH INV Item Processor responsibility link.

Note: The navigation path may vary, based on the responsibility selected.

In this example, click the CCH INV Item Processor link.

2. Click the Items link.

3. Click the Master Items link.

Step Action4. The Organizations window is displayed.

Select the organization that applies to you.

In this example, select the CCH John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County Name cell.

5. Click the OK button.

6. The Master Item (MAH) is displayed.

Use this window to describe the item you are entering.

To give a brief description, click in the Description field.

7. Enter the correct information into the Description field.

In this example, enter "S test".8. Click in the Unit of Measure Primary field.

9. Enter the correct UOM information into the Primary field.

In this example, enter "each".

10. Press [Tab].11. Click the Tools menu.

12. Click the Copy From... menu.

13. The Copy From window is displayed.

Click in the Template field.

14. Click the Template LOV button.

Create UOM conversionsLearning Objective:  In this topic, you will learn how to create an alternate Unit of Measure for item transactions. Unit of measure conversions are numerical factors that enables users to perform transactions in units other than the primary unit of the item being transacted. Upon completion of this topic you will be able to:   

Navigate to the Unit of Measure Conversion window. Select the Standard UOM. Enter the conversion factor by which the unit of measure is equivalent to the base unit of

measure,

Approved Supplier List (ASL)Learning Objective:  In this topic, you will learn how to associate items and services with the companies that supply them. Data stored in a controlled, global repository containing relevant details about each ship-from/ship-to/item relationship, is known as an Approved Supplier List (ASL). This repository includes information about all suppliers with business statuses ranging from fully Approved (the supplier has demonstrated the ability to satisfy rigorous quality, cost, and delivery requirements over a sustained period) to Debarred (no business is allowed with this supplier), or New if you have never placed a purchase order with the supplier. Upon completion of this topic you will be able to:  

Navigate to the Supplier List window. Enter the Supplier name you want to place on the supplier list. Enter the Inactive Date for the list. Enter the supplier Site you want to place on the supplier list.
