Following practice will be a discussion and Q&A led by Amber Gean. Saturday, December 1 st 11 AM - 1 PM Rocket I Practice This practice focuses on strengthening the legs and forward-bending asanas. 2 - 5 PM Rocket Teacher Training Workshop This special advanced teacher training will give you a better understanding of the Rocket Routines, and help you refine your teaching. Sunday, December 2 nd 11 AM - Noon Bottle Rocket Class This practice simplifies the Rocket Series in order to make it accessible to all levels of yogies. This by donation only class celebrates TYS’s 1-year anniversary. Noon - Rocket Teacher Training Certificate Presentation Those who complete the Full Weekend Advanced Rocket Teacher Training will be recognized and presented with a continuing education certificate. presents A Rocket Weekend with Amber Gean Amber Gean has practiced and taught Ashtanga Yoga for over 12 years. She specializes in teacher trainings, has trained over a 1000 students, and is known as a teacher of teachers. She brings with her a sense of methodology to her teaching, and a gift for waking people up on their mat. With experience in traditional Ashtanga, she prefers the Rocket Vinyasa System originally developed by Larry Schultz. In her experience, the Rocket system is a more developed sequence than traditional Ashtanga. Amber Gean’s current projects include the development of advanced Rocket Teacher Training, the opening of a retreat center in Ohio, and traveling to studios across the country offering TTs and workshops. Amber Gean also has a full service Ashtanga studio called Yoga Ah, which is located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
