Mike Gamache recently was on a 3 week Safari Tour of Africa, taking him to many different locations and seeing countless wild animals! He has many stories to share with everyone to immerse you in a grand trip to Africa. The photos that he will be show casing are breathtaking and will make you feel like you joined him on the trip yourself! So come and experience an African Safari with Mike on Tuesday, October 22nd at 2pm. Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will get breast cancer at some point. The good news is that many people can survive breast cancer if it’s found and treated early. Talk to a doctor about your risk for breast cancer, especially if a close family member of yours has had breast or ovarian cancer. Your doctor can help you decide when and how often to get mammograms. For more information on Breast Cancer Awareness, please join Nurse Lynn on Wednesday, October 9th at 1:00pm. Path to Well-Being Active Aging is celebrating aging and the benefits of active living at any age. Active Aging Week for 2019 will be held October 1-7. The objective of the annual health-promotion event is to give as many older adults as possible, the means to experience wellness activities and exercise in a safe, supportive environment. It also promotes the benefits of healthier, more active lifestyles across their life span. Here at the Fountains, we are going to celebrate by doing a week of Occupational Take-Over . Every day for the week we are having you all step into the role of what it would be like to do different occupations, such as an Agriculturer, Tennis Player, Baseball Player and more! You will experience all the hard work they do in their profession, yet get you moving, active and have fun doing it! We encourage everyone to help us make Active Aging Week 2019 a successful one! Active Aging is celebrating aging and the benefits of active living at any

age. Active Aging Week for 2019 will be held October 1-7. The objective of

safe, supportive environment. It also promotes the benefits of healthier,

more active lifestyles across their life span. Here at the Fountains, we are
