Industrial Training at HCL Career Development Centre from 08th

June 2016 to 10th July 2016.

In my industrial training I had worked on a project “DELHI

CRUSHES”.

The main objective was to prepare myself for a professional

career and to equip them with the necessary skills so that they

would make my job ready when I complete my graduation.

OUTLINES

o Training is the process of teaching, informing or educating people so

that they may become well qualified as possible to do their job, and

they become qualified to perform in positions of greater difficulty and

responsibility.

o Training is an organized and planned effort by a company in order to

facilitate employees learning regarding job related competencies.

INTRODUCTION

o A period of training with an organization is usually during the

semester break, it plays an important role in preparing the student

for a professional career.

o Training leads to optimum use of resources and zero waste which

increases productivity and helps to minimize cost of operations per

unit.

o I completed my summer training from “HCL Career Development

Centre” located in Noida whose time period was of 30 days.

ABOUT THE TRAINING

HCL CDC is the subsidy of the HCL Info systems ltd. that’s growing in service sector.

It was launched in 2006. HCL CDC Dominates the IT space as a leader. It got ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2008. Has got 100th CDC centers signed up in 2009. Growing market of IT in India has made the demand for latest IT

training Programs, So HCL CDC can cater to this growing demand.

Growing demand for Corporate trainees will set the way for growth of corporate trainings in HCL CDC’s.

There is a big opportunity for HCL CDC to tap rural market.

TRAINING ORGANIZATION

o I had joined this training on 08th June 2016 and it got completed on

10th July 2016.

o I was trained 6 continuous days in a week and Sunday was kept

off, on this free day I work on my project.

o During 30 days, we worked with a group for a project named “Delhi

TRAINING SCHEDULE

o Since our project is “Delhi Crushes” and this is an android

application, we had created the different modules which we had

taken the following information's about Delhi. Different modules

which are used in the application:- About Delhi Tourist Places Accommodation Transport Entertainment

DESCRIPTION OF TASK

o Between our training period, our trainer discussed with us about our

project and various facilities that he can provide us to develop our

project.

o During the period of training, I had to submit weekly reports to my

guide.

o This is an Android Application that is dedicated to informational

purpose, in this Application we had created some modules for

providing the best information about Delhi.

o All the user requirements will be covered in this application.

At the end of my Industrial Training, I was able to:-

o Improve my knowledge and skills relevant to this area of study.

o I learned about how to transform theoretical knowledge into

practical use.

o I also learned how to work in group by contributing individual

efforts.

LEARNING OUTCOME

o The Industrial Training program should be taken seriously to ensure

that maximum benefit is obtained by the student in order to increase

their knowledge.

o The Industrial Training component can add value to all degree

programs; specifically, it improves graduate’s work skills and

prepares them to face the challenges of the working world.

o Apart from the learning from faculty, learning from the peers

played a major role during that period.
