Profiles with NetworkManager

Clicking Create New Wireless Network creates a home or ad hoc type of profile. The system will store the profile. Credentials will be requested upon first connection or injected via a script.

Connecting to Preferred WLANs using WZC

Use Windows or third-party tool

The tool will try to connect to these automatically

By default, Windows tries to manage wirelessadapters and connections itself. Use WZC

or your WLAN adapter vendor providedutility, but not both.

WZC will keep, under Preferred networks, the WLANs to which you have connected at least once. It will try to connect

to the “automatic” first, and then will give a list of the “available networks.” On Advanced tab, you can configure what type of

network the utility should try to connect to.
