From next Academic Year 2011/2012 all Application Forms MUST be submitted online. Therefore no paper documents and forms have to be sent to us. All students selected by their Home University, who intend to spend a period of studies at the U.Porto have to register online in order to get the username and password needed to access the Application Form. The Application Form should be completed online and submitted, then printed, signed by the student and the Erasmus Coordinator, stamped and upload.

Erasmus students who want to study next year at the University of Zaragoza must be previously selected by their universities. These nominations must be communicated to the contact people and addresses set by the different Centres (Faculties, Schools or Colleges) of the Universisty of Zaragoz. Students nominated by

Application Process What are the procedures for application as an exchange student?

1. We kindly ask the international coordinator or equivalent at our partner universities to nominate the students that have been selected to spend a study period at the University of Borås (UB). Please nominate the students directly in our on-line application system before April 15/October 15. 2. Once you have submitted the nomination

form, the international coordinator at the hosting academic school at the University of Borås may accept or reject the nominated students. If a student is rejected the nomination will have the status "denied". If a student is accepted a user account will be automatically created for the student and he or she may start the application. Furthermore, the nomination will have the status "OK". 3. The student will receive an e-mail with a link to the on-line application as well as a user-name and password. The student can change the password and the system can generate a new password if the student forgets it. 4. Students will be asked for personal details, which semester and courses they apply for. The student should upload a Transcript of Record and other documents required depending on the choice of courses. When the application has been filled out it must be submitted electronically in TransIT before May 1/November 1. Students will receive an e-mail to confirm receipt of the online application. 5. The international coordinator at the hosting academic school at the University of Borås will check that the incoming student fulfils the prerequisites for the courses. Students will be informed if they are accepted two to three weeks after the deadline May 1/November 1. 6. If successful the student will receive an invitation by e-mail to come to the University of Borås as an exchange student. Students applying for a visa will receive the invitation with a stamp and a signature by post as well. 7. Information about accommodation will be sent out separately by the international coordinator at the Library and Learning resources unit at the University of Borås.
