Chemical Hazards, Example
Hydro fluoric acid (H2F) :
used for surface cleaning
Acid burns by H2F > 7% very toxic
(systemic effect on the entire body)
• Inhalation of higher concentrations can be lethal
• Acid burns can lead to systemic effects on the body
• Substitution by cleaning agents containing
phosphoric acid

• Lack of oxygen when entering
O2 < 20,9% specific search of causes is
mandatory
• Inertisation with Nitrogen
