Our city was clouded in grief andsympathy on the evening of March28th upon the announcement of thedeath of the lovely arid Christian ladyMrs Martha Gore at the home ofher son A T Gore She passedaway during the temporary absenre-of the family Drs Conner and Caswell wero immediately summoned totier bedside but on their arrival theyfound that the angel of death hadspirited her soul away to God whogave it Mrs Gore leaves to mournher demise two shildren Mr A TGore and Mrs Joseph E Cochran-and seven sisters Mrs Gore was 79years of age She was tenderly andlovingly laid away to rest by lovinghands beneath a mound of flowersHer death was caused from heartfailure Peace to her ashes
