and the hold it has on the hearts of the redeemed. He never second-guessed or digressed from his assignment. Jack knew the peril in which he walked. He knew the cost and attention such a life would attract. Jack’s war with cancer was fought with the same fierce devotion as his war with the love deprivation his ministry sought to destroy. In our last phone conversation Jack charged my spirit with something he said. He sounded weak and tired; I had asked if there’s anything I could do for him. Jack responded by saying “Keep doing what I can’t do anymore.”

Because of his dedication and service to God and others, above and beyond the call of duty, it is our joy to honor Jack today. I recognize and declare to you that Jack Ulysses Frost fulfilled his role in this age of confrontation—he fought the good fight and he left a legacy of impact and influence. He would be greatly honored if you would continue the campaign to dethrone the orphan spirit in the lives of God’s beloved!

Cape Grice (Trisha’s brother)

Trisha, I remember the cool windy December day when 31 years ago we were on a boat in the mouth of the ocean and you and Jack were married. You had chill bumps because you would not wear a coat over that pretty wedding outfit. Jack just shrugged his shoulders and let you be cold.

The summer after that, Jack took me deep sea fishing on the boat where he was first mate. We went out early to catch special live baitfish, to give me, the inexperienced guy, an advantage over the other fisherman. After I had lost 4 of the prized baitfish without hooking a fish, I could tell Jack’s patience was wearing thin but he kept giving me instructions. I finally got the hang of it and caught 10 fish between 8lbs and 18lbs a piece; I still have not broken that 18lb record.

Jack was a fairly competitive fellow. We would play chess for hours on end; he would win 4 out of 5 times. On the rare occasion that I won, Jack’s face would screw up in concentration and I knew he was thinking ‘how could I let that happen?” Sherman you will remember the softball games and the fun we all derived from them. On our basketball team Jack was the tallest

player and I was the shortest, and for some reason he always got to play more than I did.

Jack was my brother, my friend and my helper in times of trouble. He was always there when I needed to talk and share problems in the family or ministry. I knew he would be there when he was needed. Jack was a loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, and friend. We are going to miss his steady influence on our lives. In the Salvation Army, which ordained and commissioned both me and Jack into the ministry we call death a promotion to glory.

To all the family and friends of Jack Frost I want to assure you he has already stood in the presence of God and heard the words. “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

Pastor Roger Gosnell

When I first met Jack at an EFI meeting in Gatlinburg, TN, he was the Pastor of Salvation Army in Myrtle Beach. Later as Pastor Phillip Miles spoke into his life he came on staff at Evangel Cathedral and spoke at our church in Spindale, NC, on numerous occasions. During this time a divine connection was developed between Jack and I that will last through all eternity. I could just hint at something which had helped me on my journey with God, and Jack would grab it and run with it beyond anything I had ever dreamed. I would

When a ship passes it leaves a wake, a disturbance, an effect in the water. The size and reach of the wake is dependent upon the speed, size, design, depth and force of the vessel that cuts the path. We all are here because a mighty vessel has passed our way and caused our boats to rock in its wake. It is one of life’s greatest rewards to have those whose lives were touched in lasting ways to come and say “Thank You.”

We are here to celebrate and honor Jack Ulysses Frost, my dear friend and companion in work and war!

“There is no greater expression of love than to give one’s life for the benefit and enhancement of others.”

Let’s get one thing straight—Jack did not give his life in his battle with cancer. He gave his life years ago when he said “Yes” to God and embraced his destiny. Jack’s life was wrestled from him with extreme force. He fought with intense and uninterrupted commitment and ferocity because he had work to do. He died when and how he did as a result of the way he lived and the reason he lived that way. Jack was a son and a soldier sold-out to the adventure of serving his Father and King!

Jack and Trisha Frost were given a quest, a mission that would do great damage to the kingdom of darkness

fast one day a week, Jack would fast weeks at a time. I would attempt to fast the first week of the year; Jack would fast the first month or 40 days of the year. I would memorize a verse each week, he would memorize chapters. Needless to say the student soon became the teacher and mentor.

Here are a few of the truths Jack impacted my life with:

I. The only source of real, lasting confidence is the knowledge that God loves, has affection for, and enjoys us even in our weakness. Mark 12:30-31 “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul and with all thy mind and with all thy strength. And second is like this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”

Mike Bickle, when asked how he kept over 400 youth passionately on fire for God in worship and prayer for over seven years, 24-7, said “I keep them convinced that God loves, has affection, and enjoys them even in their weakness.”

II. There is a Difference Between Immaturity and Rebellion. We don’t stop enjoying a child when he is learning to walk and falls, rather we show love, affection, and enjoy them through out the process. How much more does Father God enjoy us even in our weakness?

III. It Is Always Too Soon To Give Up On Your Vision and Destiny. Proverbs

29:18 “Where there is no vision people perish” (Cast off restraint, wander aimlessly). I shared seven reasons or motivations to resist immorality in any form, especially pornography. When Jack read them he said number seven was the one that kept him free. “One must have a vision great enough to motivate him not to sell out for any reason.” Jack had the most perseverance of anyone I have ever known. Jack should have D.D. before his name, Denial Destroyer. Like a bulldog after every wall in one’s life that blocked Father’s Love.

IV. Friends Are Friend Forever. William Booth, sick and unable to attend his last conference, wrote his sermon to be read to the officers. The sermon was only one word. “Others.”

Others, Lord; help me live from day to day in such a self-forgetful way that, even when I kneel to pray, my prayer would be for others.

Others, Lord; help me live for others that I may live like thee.

Jack Frost was a man who lived for others.

You fought a good fight, kept the faith, and finished your course with honors. Well done, good and faithful servant; son with whom we are all well pleased.

You’ll always be TOP HOOK in our book.

Ed Piorek

My name is Ed Piorek, or Eddie as my friends call me. Jack always called me Eddie. This morning as I was in my hotel room looking out at the Atlantic Ocean thinking about Jack, this thought came to mind: Jack Frost was first and foremost my friend. My friend for several reasons: I think we became friends, first of all, because we're so much like each other. We both loved the sea; he would fish for things under the sea and I would surf the waves on the sea.

We had the same kind of fathers and we had very similar journeys in finding the Father's love. In fact, once when I first heard Jack Frost speak, he gave his testimony about the Father's love in his life, and when I heard it, I said "that's my testimony! Only he does it better, more fervently and funnier than I

do." So I had the occasion once when I was in Dresden, Germany, on a conference, to say "Jack, your testimony is so much like mine." He said "that's because when I heard your testimony, I copied it".

The second reason we were good friends is because we loved each other. Jack and I really loved each other. And I was just thinking of a year ago in January when I was teaching at the school in Toronto, and when I went there to teach I was at sort of a low point in my life for some reason. I needed to be loved. And when I walked up to the classroom I saw Jack coming down the stairs. And in the very first session as we came to the time when I would begin to speak and they were praying for me, the first hand that came and was laid upon me was Jack's hand, and he just reminded me how much he loved me. And I felt the Father's love and was so encouraged.

And then we had dinner together and he shared how wonderfully things were going, but on the other hand how poorly he was feeling. And I will never forget that at the very end of that seminar, there was a line of pastors there who wanted to receive prayer and Jack was the last person in line. And I went and had the opportunity to put my hand on his head and give the Father's love to him, and he received that love and I knew that was very important for what lay ahead in his life. We really loved each other.

Then right after that time in Toronto, I had a phone call from him and he asked me if I would come and speak at the Shiloh reunion last November. And I thought that was such an honor. And I said, why does Jack invite me, why does he treat me like that? And the word came to me, because he loves you so much.

And the final reason I think that we had a wonderful friendship was because we were linked together in this wonderful revelation of the Father's love. I had received revelation and an experience of the Father's love and had the opportunity to share it in Toronto. I didn't know that Jack was in that audience. He listened and it touched his heart. Then he took that revelation that I had been able to release to him and he took it much further than I had taken it. And I realize that we were linked together in that. And I believe that now all of us who are linked together in this friendship with Jack, and in this revelation of the Father's love, have come to a place where we are going to take it even much further than I could take it, much further than Jack could take it, we're going to take it much further than it has been taken ever before.

I have had a series of dreams for the last three months with Jack in them. I had the opportunity to be in paradise

with Jack. I want you to know that I was able to go up and touch him and hug him. He has put all of his weight plus more back on. And in this series of dreams, Jack and I have gone all over the world. We have been ministering, distributing his books, and taking the message of the Father's love further than ever before.

That speaks to me that this revelation and this ministry of Jack Frost is just about to enter its finest hour. It's such a privilege that we can all be here together to enter into it. Thank you, Jack, for being such a good friend.

This is a time of mixed emotions. Firstly sadness; we have lost a friend, husband, father, brother. We will not be able to have him with us in the flesh; he’ll not be here to fellowship, talk and spend time with.

Secondly, celebration. Paul wrote “for me to live is Christ, to die is gain.” Jack has gone on to his reward; his suffering is over and he is healed. A deposit has been left behind; lives have been changed, bondages broken, hurts healed. The fruit of his ministry remains (John 15:16 and Acts 13:36). Jack was a young David raised up by God to impact this generation with the message of love. Jack accomplished more in the last 12 years of his life than most people accomplish in a lifetime. His example as a husband was loving, caring, and providing for his wife. As a father he passed the Father’s love to his children. As a Christian he showed us all what the Christian life is about.

Jack was like a son to me, both on staff at Evangel Cathedral, and in our continuing relationship. Any father is proud to see his son walk in the ways of the Lord. I have watched Jack in both his struggles and his successes. Five traits stood out to me. First, persistence; Jack was not a quitter. Second, compassion for the hurting. Third, openness and transparency. Fourth, sensitivity; Jack was always quick to clear up misunderstandings. And fifth, humility. Jesus said “blessed

are the poor in spirit;” Jack never thought he had arrived. He saw his need of more of God and was always pressing in.

My prayer for the family is that God will comfort your hearts and that He will sustain you by His grace. I pray that God will help all of us to follow the example of Jack’s life.

Carol Arnott

John and I have been majorly impacted by Jack over the years. The first time I met him he was in one of our ministry team's arms, sobbing and weeping as she ministered to him a mother's love. Jack was one who would receive prayer as well as pour out to thousands and thousands. The first time I heard Jack talk on the orphan heart I fell apart. I realized that I had a heart that had withheld love from my mother. God used Jack, Trisha, and their whole family to minister to me life, health and wholeness. I will always be so eternally grateful. Not only that, his life goes on. There are many young people who have sat under Jack's life. Even his own family have an anointing and a calling to bring the Father's love to many. And so Jack, have fun with Jesus, just have fun with Jesus. I think Jesus is going to take you fishing Jack!

Very early on March 5, 2007, our dear friend and brother, Jack Frost, went into the presence of Jesus. We are very sad for ourselves. We are very happy for Jack. He fought a good fight; he finished his course, and he kept the faith. We know that there is a crown of righteousness laid up for

him in glory that will never fade away. The revelation that Jack carried in his heart has changed us. So many of us at TACF have so many fond memories which began with the first time Jack came to Toronto. As the heavenly Father poured His love into his soul, Jack was stuck to the floor, crying and unable to get up for two hours. This encounter changed his life. Jack and Trish soon became our dear friends. Jack began to preach about the Father’s love, speaking at hundreds of conferences and writing books and articles which have been read around the world. The Father’s love became the focus of Jack’s ministry during the last ten years. That ministry was even more evident in Jack’s own family where the Holy Spirit performed a deep and profound work of healing and forgiveness between Jack and his own wife and children. I have heard him share several times with amazing transparency, how he went to all his children and repented for being the hardened sea captain turned hardened legalistic preacher who had wounded them again and again. The tears flowed all around, but Christ had the victory as love and tenderness, honor and mutual respect blossomed within the family. Some of us may be wondering, “Why didn’t God heal him?” He waged a brave war against lung cancer medically and especially spiritually. He was full of faith and expectation. As I look at the scriptures, I wonder, too, why Stephen died as a young man, becoming the church’s first martyr. I wonder why James, the brother of John, died soon after, beheaded by Herod. Why didn’t God deliver them when they were needed so very much by the church? I also wonder why Jack was not delivered when the church needed his life and ministry so very

much. None of us has all the answers. I am thinking of the words of Martha and Mary in John 1:21 and 32. “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” I only know that God sees life and death very differently than we do. From His perspective, the death of one of His saints is a precious thing; certainly not a defeat, but an eternal victory. Continue to keep Jack’s wife, Trisha, and his family in your prayers as they suffer the pain of Jack’s loss. My prayer is that the Lord will carry all of you on eagle’s wings. You all have a great future and an even greater reunion with the Lord Jesus and with Jack to look forward to one day very soon. The legacy of Jack’s ministry, Shiloh Place, lives on. Trisha Frost and their team, along with Mark Burlinson and Johnnie Lewis will continue to hold their life-changing conferences and schools. Lives will continue to be transformed by the ongoing ministry of Jack’s books such as Experiencing the Father’s Embrace and his new one, Spiritual Slavery to Spiritual Sonship. Please remember to send Trisha an e-mail, and let her know that you are thinking of her and praying for her. It would bless her and her children if you would take a moment and write out a testimony of how your life was changed at one of Jack Frost’s meetings. Invite Mark Burlinson or one of the Shiloh Place team to teach at your congregation about the Father’s love. Jack has taught them well, and they carry his anointing. Contact all of them at www.shilohplace.org. We miss you, Jack, dear friend, dear brother. Your life inspired us. Please say hello to Jesus for us; we know it won’t be long until we see you both.

Jane and I first saw Jack at our first “Father Loves You” conference in Toronto in November 1997. His testimony is interwoven with our initial experience of Father God’s love. We learned what we have also been experiencing today—that in God’s love we can laugh and cry at the same time.

Later, while we were working at Toronto Airport Christian

Fellowship, we looked forward to his visits and anticipated the ministry as his humor and transparency brought fresh, heart ripping revelation. We called him Jack the Ripper. Over time this impartation to us began to be released through us too; first to our family and then to others.

Eventually our original spiritual parents, John and Carol, recommended and released us to Shiloh Place and we became adopted spiritual sons to Jack and Trisha.

We have both grown so much through our inclusion in their family of love, and have been honored to be immersed in Jack and Trisha’s values as we have worked together for four and a half years.

We have seen Jack humbly making himself available to others, in contrast to so many in ministry today. His genuine desire for others to receive what he and Trisha had received led him to seek out the least and the broken, both before and after meetings, as well as outside them.

Jack had a vision to give himself away to others, reproducing his heart in theirs and releasing them to be all God intended. This humility fostered trust in many pastors and leaders all over the world, giving Jack and Shiloh Place a voice of influence and leadership among them. He was a true spiritual father, giving responsibility and authority to others, even those less qualified than him.

His legacy is hundreds of spiritual children in dozens of nations who all trace their journey into agape through Jack.

We have also been honored to watch him walk through the past year with faith and trust in his heavenly Father, finding a deeper revelation of agape in the midst of faith and suffering. This grain of wheat, which went into the ground last year as Jack began his sabbatical, has now died. He is completely healed and enjoying perfect intimacy with his Daddy. His life will bear much more fruit; fruit that will look different from the seed, but is of the same substance – humility, transparency, sonship, identity and destiny, community. There are many “little Jacks” all over the world expressing the fullness of who God has made them to be, because they have had the privilege of being touched by Jack and Trisha. Jane and I are honored to be among that number. We will miss him, but we are committed to continuing in his ways, to keep doing what he no longer needs to do – to receive God’s love and give it away every day.

Ten years ago I brought my family to an exposing bitter root strongholds conference at a ministry called Shiloh Place. It was then that God brought a precious gift into my life. His name was Jack Frost. I came to Shiloh Place a broken, discouraged, disillusioned pastor. I left that conference with an experience in Father’s love that continues to revolutionize my life

today. Jack demonstrated God’s unconditional love to me. Jack was my friend, my mentor, and my spiritual father. He believed in me, he valued me, and he reached out to me even in my dysfunctional isolationism. He saw something in me I didn’t see in myself and this demonstration of love restored in me the ability to trust, the desire to be fathered, and to begin to father others.

I remember the story of David Livingstone, the famous missionary evangelist to Africa. At the time of his death the British people demanded that his body be brought back to England to be buried with honor at Westminster Abbey. The African people, whom he had dedicated his life to, carefully removed his heart and buried it on African soil to symbolize that in his heart he would always be with them.

That literal story reminds me of the man we celebrate today. Jack’s spirit is in Heaven, His body will be buried on the earth but his heart of love remains in each of us. His legacy

will go on forever in Trisha, Micah and Majesta, Doug and Sarah, Josh, Journey and little Judah. It will also remain in his spiritual sons and daughters who will continue the legacy of reaching the world with the love of the Father.

Jack and Trisha are the richest people I know. The relationships they have developed and nurtured, the lives they have touched, the countless spiritual sons and

daughters throughout the world, many of whom they may never meet. What a legacy, what true riches. As for me, Jack, I can not thank you enough. I am changed, my family is changed, and our church is changed forever.

Because of your love we will continue to reach our world with the Father’s love.

I love you Amigo. We will all miss you!!!!

Jack was a hugely significant man in the Father's sovereign purposes for the end times. He has been a prophetic forerunner in the new Reformation

Jack had an absolutely unique ability to communicate the Father message. Nobody else I know has had the anointing to bring both teaching and testimony, revelation and impartation in this whole area. He was a man of stature in the physical and a man of stature in the spiritual. He not only preached the Father heart of God. He lived it - in his family and his friendships.

His heart has found its greatest goal, its final true home - face to face with Abba.

On behalf of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship, we pass on our sympathies to Trisha, her children and all who are feeling the loss of Jack. We are proud to say that Jack Frost was a friend of TACF and had a profound impact in the lives of our pastors, congregation and those who attended the various conferences at which Jack preached.

It was our privilege to not only stand in prayer with Jack and his family but to also send money to cover his medical expenses. I had opportunity to fly down and spend a couple of hours with Jack, Trisha and two of their children last autumn. We went to a buffet and Jack had sugar desserts for the first time in several months.

Jack, as he always did, spoke truthfully as to where his body was at but also he was full of optimism knowing that His Father was fully in control. He understood the words

"for better or worse" and was choosing better.

Jack, we will miss you. You've shown us the Father and He is now showing you your new quarters. I know there are seas in heaven, perhaps there are also boats for you to enjoy and perhaps some fish in the waters that you've never seen. We'll look you up right away when we join you there.

Trisha, know you are loved. However you need our support, it will be there for you.

Last night, just after I had received the news of Jack’s passing, I had to get up and speak to a group of Malaysian pastors and leaders. I spoke of Jack, his life and testimony and the Father that had transformed his life with His love, the impact that it had on your family and his ministry. There was a huge anointing as the Holy Spirit came forth and confirmed my words. Many of the pastors began to humble themselves and cry out to know the Father as Jack knew Him.

Jack loved the sea and I loved that mountains. Jack was a seaman and I was a hunter. We often quoted to each other a poem called "Epitaph" by Robert Louis Stevenson that seemed to sum up what we had each found in the Fathers love. And now has full significance for this much loved man of the sea. It concludes: "Home is the sailor home from the sea and the hunter home from the hills. " You have captained your ship through storms and through calm and left in your wake a great family, spiritual heritage, great memories and an example of a life well lived. I am so proud of you my friend and my brother.

Looking Ahead

The last thing in the world I thought I would be doing this year is plan-ning my husband's funeral. We all prayed and believed that Jack would live and not die and that the mes-sage of Agape would marry the signs and wonders message and would be taken to all of the world through this marriage; so what hap-pened? Did we not pray enough, did we not fast enough are we so spiritually deaf that nobody heard from God? Of course not. My son Joshua said in his words about his dad that "why my dad died is a mys-tery but we still believe in a Father who heals his kids and if anyone needs prayer let us know because we believe!!!" I have stopped trying to figure out the circumstances of life and have made choices to move forward with the call of God upon my life.

Back in 1991, God gave Jack and me a mandate to build a retreat center where many would come and be healed emotionally and physically. That mandate has not changed at all. We may have taken many differ-ent turns in the road to get to our destiny but we are still moving mightily towards that destiny being fulfilled. Thousands of lives and families have been restored by the message of agape, not the messen-ger Jack. Jack was one of many messengers that have been raised up through the ministry of Shiloh Place. He is truly experiencing our Father's Embrace today and we will miss him terribly. One has gone home, many remain. We, his family, friends and co-messengers, with the help of our Father, will continue to bring this message to the world. Jack has completed his voyage on this earth, and in his wake has made an impact on all of our lives through this message of love that

he experienced and then brought home to his family. We intend to carry out his wishes that the ministry at Shiloh Place would continue for as long as God has purpose for it.

When Jack Winter passed away a few years back, his spiritual sons picked up his mantle and took the message of the Father's Love to places that Jack had not been able to take it. We, the spiritual children of Jack, intend to continue to take the message of agape to places and to people that Jack will not be able to go to. So Shi-loh Place will continue to touch all of those lives that Jack carried in his heart. Our week and month-long schools will continue; prayer ministry with Johnnie and Kay is stronger than ever; team members are leaving in the morning for Nigeria to do pastor conferences; Mark, myself and other team members will continue to travel to churches and encounters sharing on our revelation of agape; our re-sources will continue to be sold, (don't forget Jack's new book has re-cently been released and he is only two chapters away from finishing his adventure book, The Quest, which I with the help of a ghost writer will be finishing) so the ministry of Shiloh Place will go forth.

We will need your help in order to do this. If you believe that this ministry has benefited the world then we need your help in prayer as we seek God for direction, and also we need your continued financial support in order to go through our inlet of transition. We are good soil to plant seed in and ask that you prayerfully consider con-tinuing or increasing your support for this ministry.

Again, I (Trisha) want to thank each of you for the wonderful outpouring of love to our family and the team at Shiloh Place. Jack was honored by each of you through the many ways that you have supported us during this year of crisis and the many ways that you have honored him in death. He would have been pleased and now I know Jack has gone to his eternal rest knowing that we at Shiloh Place will continue the message of agape.

Bless each of you,

Trisha Frost.
