Williams came in with a heavy attack on Bussey's body. A left hook to the mid-section and a right to the head dropped Bussey to the can- vas. where he stayed on one knee through the count of nine. Bloody and weak. Bussey went into a clinch with the champ. When the referee parted them, Williams let loose a vicious left hook to the middle and a hard right to the head that put Bussey on the canvas again The referee moved in and raised the champ's hand in triumph.
