Through a Dog's eyes What is seen through a dogs eyes Is it all black and white Are the browns, yellows, and oranges seen of fall or the greens of spring Do they see by smelling and make everything else up Do they smell the fresh cut grass Then envision it in their mind Or do they not see at all And wonder around blindly Hoping that someone will help them Is it all just black with no extravagant color We may never know what is seen Through a dogs eyes
Watching You
When I watch you I see
a wet black nose coming
to nuzzle my arm looking
as always for some
Attention and love
When I watch at you I see
A hairy fur ball sheading
Everywhere
When I watch you I see
Something so full of
Energy it cannot stay still
Destroying all of my possessions
When I watch you I see
Big eyes so full of love
That I cannot look away
When I watch you I see
My crazy, annoying, hyper,
Destructive dog that I
Love so much.
Spooks and Scares
Goblins and witches
roam the streets,
All having tricks and treats
Scary houses silhouette
the night sky,
Smelling of candy
And pumpkin pie
Pumpkins sitting on front porches
look out at the street
mimmcking frightening
vampire scowls and ghosts
as white as sheets
Black cats wait to be seen,
Latters wait to be walked under,
and mirrors waiting to be broken
All waiting, to claim their
Next victim
Halloween,
Full of lights,
Shocks, frights,
