Jake Zokan is slated to make his Double-A debut after posting a 1.69 ERA (3 ER in 16 IP) over three starts with the High-A Bakersfield Blaze...The Biscuits are tied for the league lead with 166 hits and they rank second with 17 home runs...Their staff boasts a 3.05 ERA and a league-best 165 strikeouts. Versus Montgomery: This is the fifth of 20 regular season contests between the Generals and Bis- cuits as they conclude the first of four scheduled series in 2015...The teams have split the first four games, which have been decided by a combined six runs...The Biscuits travel to Jackson at the end of May, and the teams play a pair of series in the Second Half as well. Taking A Five: If Jackson and Montgomery play nine innings today, it will be the first time that the Gen- erals get through the fifth game in a series this season...In their first three series of the year, the Generals have had one series finale suspended and two postponed due to rain...Jackson’s game in Jacksonville on April 13 was called due to rain with the score tied 0-0 in the seventh inning. As it was the last First Half meeting between the Generals and Suns, it will not be made up...Games against the Braves on April 19 and the Smokies on April 24 were postponed due to rain. Jackson will play doubleheaders in Pearl, Miss. and Kodak, Tenn. to make those up. Don’t Call it a Comeback: Jackson has come from behind in five of it’s six wins this season, includ- ing each of the team’s two wins in Alabama’s capital...Jackson won for the first time on Monday when trailing after the eighth thanks to a pair of ninth-inning scores...The Generals also came back from deficits on April 16 versus Mississippi (down 4-2, won 5-4), April 20 versus Tennessee (down 1-0, won 7-1) and April 21 versus Tennessee (down 3-1, won 5-3)...Jackson’s lone victory in which they did not have to come from behind was on Opening Night (April 9) in Jacksonville. The Generals broke a scoreless tie in that game with two ninth-inning runs to win 2-0. It’s-A Me, Dario: Jackson outfielder Dario Pizzano, who celebrated his 24 th birthday Saturday, has hit in ten-straight games for the Generals, the longest for any player on the team in 2015...The Jackson outfielder went 2-for-5 with an RBI in yesterday’s win in Montgomery. He has registered three-straight multi-hit games...Over this stretch, Pizzano is hitting .415 (17-for-41) with a double, a triple, a home run and four RBIs...He now leads the league in average (.396), ranks sixth in on-base percentage (.431), seventh in OPS (.952) and eighth in slugging (.521) Why Don’t We Do It On the Road: Jackson’s win on Monday night in Montgomery not only snapped the team’s four-game losing streak, but also a five-game skid in games away from Jackson. It was the team’s first road win since April 9 in Jacksonville (W, 2-0)...The team kept the momentum going Tuesday, tying a season-high with seven runs and setting a new high mark for hits in a road game with 13...Prior to Monday’s contest, the team had scored just 11 runs in seven away games (1.57 runs per game). Power Outage: Gabriel Guerrero’s inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning last night was Jack- son’s first home run away from West Tennessee, and just the fourth for the team overall. The team is last among Southern League teams in long balls....That’s a surprise considering what many of these players did in 2014. The team features four hitters that surpassed 15 long balls: Gabriel Guerrero (18), Jordy Lara (26), Jabari Henry (30) and D.J. Peterson (31). Guerrero and Lara were two of just seven minor league players to hit .300 with 90 runs scored, 45 extra-base hits and 90 runs batted in, while Peterson was one of five to hit 30 home runs while driving in more than 100.
