A Brief Sketch of Life of Robert Christopher Underwood On August 13, 1980, proud parents Sheretta Lavonne Stokes and Robert Underwood, Jr. welcomed their first-born son into the world, Robert Christopher Underwood. Robert Christopher’s family moved from Sacramento to Los Angeles in 1987; and, they later relocated to Indianapolis, IN in 1991. He joined the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Indianapolis as a young child. He attended school in Indianapolis where he received his high school diploma. Robert Christopher had a constant thirst for knowledge and attended classes at Youngstown State University. He then pursued other educational opportunities by taking college courses online. Robert Christopher was affectionately known as “Face” by his close friends. He believed in living life to the fullest and knew no fear. He had a fondness for adventure, beautiful cars, genuine people, and really enjoyed making his own money. He was a guy who liked to dress to impress; and his distinctive style influenced others around him, including his brothers and other friends. Some of Robert Christopher’s favorite past times included riding motorcycles, traveling around the country, and meeting genuine people. During his quiet times, he enjoyed listening to music, reading (to further expand his knowledge), and playing a good game of chess. Over the years; he worked as a warehouseman, at a popular restaurant chain to learn different aspects of that business, and in the field of telemarketing. Robert Christopher loved his family and often traveled to California to visit his maternal grandparents. He really loved California’s peaceful beaches, warm weather, and exciting nightlife. It wasn’t unusual to find him at a southern California party in the company of well-known celebrities because his charismatic smile made him popular with people from all walks of life. On June 1
