and Kids” events throughout the year in hopes of generating interest in engineering and the sciences for local middle school-aged children. Two "Mentoring for Families & Kids“ events were held in March and April at the Haskell building with around a dozen kids and their families attending.

SAME provided pizza and soda during both events. The children got a good basic feel for engineering and so it was a successful event for both the kids and their parents.
