11 .New Technologies developed in village .
1.Rain water harvesting- Collect the rain water from 50 ha area through
contour bunding in 1.25 lits capacity water storage tank also done the work of
CCT so that avoid the erosion of soil of farmers of the surrounding of my farm.

16.What improvement have been effected for productivity,
profitability , sustainability- enhancement.
I have established Jay malhar farmers club with the help of KVK Baramati and
NABARD ,also I am a president of farmers scientist meet for Pune District Which is
started by MPKV Rahuri under the guidance of Ex Director of Extension
Dr.K.D.Kokate.I have adopt improve productivity in my crops ,I have adopted
integrated practices (chemical +biological+organic) & new proved technologies in
my farm. Replacement of traditional seed into certified seed & new variety
improved my traditional crops yield . To improve more profitability I have
adopted high tech Custard apple plantation with drip irrigation,fertigation system
For sustainability I use multiple crop pattern .
Previous I have only rain fed crops Jowar , wheat & bajara. My crop productivity
was low due to old seed, used more flow water& unscientific use of chemical
fertilizer .Now I am growing variety of crops so that my income is increased day by
day I have year round production so that my income and expenditure flow is well
balanced due to integrated farming my profit is increased
I have done the work of water conservation ,Contour bunding ,recharging of well
and CCT with the help of Department of Agriculture and forest Dept. in my village
sothat water level is increased up to 20-50 feets and water is now available upto
month of March –April ,Before that water is available up to January month so that
farmers in the village cultivate only cereals and pulse now they we are diverted to
fruit crops and vegetables

activity for Pune District which is jointly organized by Farmers and MPKV
Rahuri

4. Establish Shivmalhar Cooperative fruit and vegetable processing center.
5. Establish late Haribhau Saste smruti Development Trust and with help of
this organize farmers seminars,Also give award to farmers for their
excellent work.
6. Give TV talk on Doordarshan on Dryland farming and Farm pond for dryland
farming
7. Selected as a master farmer and gives training to the farmers
8. Attend training program on water management ,Mechanical farming
,organic farming at MPKV RAHURI and Fruit and vegetable processing at Y S
Parmar Agriculture university ,Nauni .H.P.
9. Work for Sakurde forest management committee and also I am President of

10. Awarded first prize “sant Tukaram Vangram Puraskar”by Govt. Maharashtra
for doing work in soil and water conservation during 2009-10

Started use of biotechnology - We regularly use biological micro organism like
psb., azotobactor, asotobactor , potash mobilizing bactaria, tricoderma,
composting bacteria etc. for seed treatment and soil application That increased
20% of production .
Started use of drip irrigation & sprinkler system – I have made major change in
water management . This reduce wastage of water It also helped me to use water
soluble fertilizer for crop,due to gravity the total water is applied to the field by
siphon method so that 80 % electricity is saved .
Water harvesting and water storage tank-I have 1.25 crore lits capacity water
storage tank and total water is collected by drainage system in the tank.
Started use of mechanization – I have started use of Tractor , Wheat harvester,
Honda engine movable spray pumpthese save my man power, time ,money..
