Jairo Addison brings more than 25 years of artistic experi-ence and incorporates his deep love and respect for art andapplies that passion to today’s commercial marketplace.

A self-taught artist, Addison was born in Nicaragua into theCuevas family and began drawing portraits, landscapes andsketches with a #2 pencil at age four. Before long, Addisonwas using charcoals, pens, pastels and mixed media to createunique art forms, and later became deeply immersed in thedigital arts.

After coming to the United States in 1983, Addison studiedadvertising design, sculpture, calligraphy, life drawing and fine-art at Ventura College in California. In 1990, he graduated

from Platt College (Pasadena, Califor-nia) in computer graphic / textile de-sign. He has continued to refine hisskills, with today’s technology andmastering the ability to design, en-hance photos, color corrections, photorestoration and retouching images toachieve the best look.

Summing up his vision, Addison says,“I’ve been blessed and privileged forbeing able to develop imaginativeand original art naturally. Everyartist sees the world in an individual light, with differentperspectives, dimensions, col-ors and shapes. However, artsurrounds and movesthrough us.”
