Winn Said

Craig Winn Said, Islam is a caustic blend of regurgitated paganism and twisted Bible stories. Muhammad, its lone prophet, conceived his religion solely to satiate his lust for power, sex, and money. He was a terrorist The critics of this work will claim that Prophet of Doom is offensive, racist, hatemongering, intolerant, and unnecessarily violent. I agree Others will say that I cherry-picked the worst of Islam to render an unfair verdict. They will charge that I took the Islamic scriptures out of context to smear Muhammad and Allah. But none of that is true.

Over the course of these pages, I quote from almost every Surah in the Quran many are presented in their entirety. But more than that, I put each verse in the context of Muhammad's life, quoting vociferously from the Sunnah as recorded by Bukhari, Muslim, Ishaq, and Tabari Islam's earliest and more trusted sources.

I even arrange all of this material chronologically, from creation to terror These official works include: the Sira, Ta'rikh, Hadith, and Quran. Ishaq's Sira, or biography, called Sirat Rasul Allah, provides the lone account of Muhammad's life and the formation of Islam written within 200 years of the prophet's death. While the character, message, and deeds portrayed within its pages are the antithesis of Christ's and his disciples, the Sira's chronological presentation is similar in style to the Christian Gospels.

The Ta'rikh is the oldest, most trusted and comprehensive history of Islam's formation and Muhammad's example, called Sunnah. It was written by Tabari. His History of al-Tabari is formatted like the Bible. It begins with Islamic creation and ends with the acts of Muhammad's companions. Tabari is a compilation of Hadith quotes and Quran passages. As such, it provides the best skeleton upon which to flesh out the character of Muhammad and the nature of fundamental Islam. A Hadith is an oral report from Muhammad or his companions. Muslims believe that Hadith were inspired by Allah, making them scripture. The most revered Collection was compiled in a topical arrangement by Bukhari. Allah's Book, the Quran, lacks context and chronology, so to understand it; readers are dependent upon the Sira, Ta'rikh, and Hadith. All that can be known about Muhammad's deeds, means, motives, god, and scripture is enshrined in these books.

In their pages you will see them as they saw themselves. My only point of departure from Ishaq and Tabari will be the comprehensive review of the early Meccan Surah's, a period in which they had very little to say. Our paths will join again as we approach Islam's midlife crisis: the Quraish Bargain, Satanic Verses, Night's Journey, and Pledge of Aqaba a declaration of war against all mankind. At this point, the Sunnah speaks more clearly than the Quran. So that there will be no confusion, I have set the passages from Islam's scripture in bold-faced type. When quoting from the Quran and Hadith, I have elected to use a blended translation. No language transfers perfectly one word to another.

Five of my twelve translations of the Quran were combined to create the most accurate conveyance of the message possible. However, the writing quality is so poor, the proofreaders of this manuscript suggested that I help Allah and Muhammad out by cleaning up their grammar, punctuation, and verbosity. So for clarity and readability, I have trimmed their unruly word patterns and meaningless repetitions, being careful not to alter the meaning or message of any passage. Insertions within parenthesis (like this) were added by the Arabic translators to fill in missing words or to clarify the text. Insertions within brackets [like this] represent my observations.

I have elected to present Islam's original source material in juxtaposition to my evaluation of its veracity. This format is similar to that used by the first English translators of Mein Kampf as they attempted to warn America about the dangers lurking in Hitler's manifesto. They, as I, found it necessary to hold the author accountable. A great deal was at stake then, as it is today. The last time the world was ignorant of such a hateful and violent doctrine, 55 million people died So, could it be? Could a prophet and a religion be responsible for today's terrorist attacks? Currently, there is a worldwide, extensive, coordinated effort led by Evangelical and Jewish political and religious leaders and Western authors, talk show hosts, and the media and film community to discredit and ridicule Muhammad, peace be upon him. Everything Islamic, including legislations identical to the Law established by ancient biblical prophets, such as Prophet Musa (Moses), peace be upon him1, are being attacked. It has become customary for Western mass media to interview various experts on Islam to talk about Islam and Muslims.

The astounding fact about these so-called experts on Islam is that the overwhelming majority of them are either Christian or Jewish, especially those who suffer from a deep innate bias against a religion they never understood or seriously studied. Rarely is a Muslim scholar or even an ordinary Muslim who is a practicing Muslim interviewed2. Even when interviewing a Muslim, the interview will be followed by analysis from the usual experts on Islam that the media regularly employs. This is an unscientific, emotional approach prevalent in the West and which will prevent Westerners from truly understanding Islam and effectively addressing the deep, often negative, sentiments Muslims have regarding the West.

Serious research or even half-hearted attempts at understanding Islam are no longer pursued or required. Western audiences do not ask for evidence nor do they question Western experts claims about Islam. As long as what these experts say conforms to the

misconceptions and satisfies the fears that Westerners have about Islam, its Prophet and Allah, it is never questioned for authenticity.

If one reads books written about Islam that are popular in the West one might think that Muhammad, peace be upon him, spent his life killing and raiding his neighbours without justification, murdering women and children, beheading non-combatants, forcibly bequeathing other people's property and land and causing mischief. Of course, if one only lists the battles led by any political or religious leader in the history of mankind, and only those, then, one will end up with a distorted image of that political or religious person. For instance, if someone only collects the Torah accounts of various battles that the Prophets sent to the Children of Israel are said to have led, one would end up reading reports about terrible pillage and killing of men, women, children and even animals, similar to the idea they have created about Islam3.

One clear example of Western experts on Islam who criticize a religion they do not begin to understand is named, Craig Winn '. Winn, a discredited businessman, presided over the demise of a multi-billion dollar company and recklessly led to tremendous financial losses to shareholders ( http://news.com.com/2100-1017-244388.html?legacy=cnet ). Winn, a

Presbyterian, neo-Conservative, Evangelical fanatic with delusions of becoming president of the United States4 , wrote a book about the Prophet of Islam titled, The Prophet of Doom . It is still a mystery as to how Winn became such an expert on Islam. Winn himself helped shed some light on this mystery by claiming on his web-site, Recognizing that most people don't have the will, time, or means to invest 10,000 hours into the study of Islam, I have done the heavy lifting for you.

Is It Four Months, 10,000 Hours or Two Years?

There is a difference of opinion between Craig Winn and two other Craig Winn s as to the period of time any or all of them studied Islam. One Craig Winn mentioned four months5, another Craig Winn mentioned 10,000 hours [ 416 days or 13 months ]6 , and yet another Craig Winn mentioned two years7. This is a mystery that only Winn can explain.

I ask the reader to be patient while I distill parts of Craig Winn's, Letter to the Reader', quoted above. Since he claims to be an expert on Islam, we will put him, his claims and his book of doom to the test.

This Book This book, The Prophet of Mercy, is partly in response to the various claims against Muhammad, peace be upon him, made by Craig Winn and other Western political, religious and literary leaders. But largely, this book seeks to explain who Muhammad was in clear terms and in an evidence-supported methodology. Also, this book is a challenge to all those who think they can discredit Muhammad, peace be upon him: try and refute the facts in this book using proof and evidence without reverting to abuse and emotions, the trademarks of current Evangelical preaching.

The Debate That Never Took Place

I reaffirm my challenge to Craig Winn to hold a scientific debate with me in which both parties produce evidence to support their respective claims. I had challenged Winn to a debate some time ago, stating that I would not read his book before the debate, so that he could astound me with his best evidence. He declined. He also directly used offensive words of abuse against me personally and against my religion, the Creator of all that exists and the Prophet of Islam in his first and subsequent responses to my emails. If this is the product of Compassionate Conservatism', then certainly, I cannot imagine a single person who needs it; Ye shall know them by their fruits ; [Matthew 7:16]. It is claimed that, Craig came to

know the Lord at home after reading a copy of Hal Lindsey's book, The Late Great Planet Earth.8 One should wonder as to which Lord the Neos are talking about, considering the incredible amount of horrific abuse that Winn has collected in his doomed book. This also makes one wonder why anyone would want to buy his book or spend time reading it for pleasure. From what I read of his book, objectivity and scientific approach were buried a long time ago.

My Challenge to Debate Winn Still Stands Unanswered

Winn can still debate me on Islam, since sadly for me- I had to start reading his tedious book after he declined my earlier generous offer for a debate. I doubt that he will agree to hold a debate, though. He is looking for weak opponents, similar to the Sufi Imam of a Florida Masjid (wrongly called, Mosque') whom Winn somehow defeated as I was told- because he brought distorted issues the Sufi Shaikh did not hear of before and thus was unqualified to address and respond to effectively.

I doubt that Winn would ever read this refutation on his book or my response to his equating Muhammad, peace be upon him, to Hitler and calling him a terrorist. What would Jesus have said to Craig had he heard him describe Muhammad, peace be upon him, a fellow Prophet who is respected by at least one-fifth of humanity, using the filthy and dishonourable words of abuse that he collected in his book? Yet, we elect not to respond to Winn's abuse with the same because we Muslims- are restricted by the honourable code of conduct that Islam enjoins on its followers. Also, the difference between us and Craig is that we respect Jesus and believe deeply in his prophethood. Therefore, we cannot and will never disrespect Jesus lest we lose our Islam. Jesus, peace be upon him, was nothing like Craig Winn and is not responsible for Winn's standard of character. Craig Winn and the Neos' who support him are responsible for Craig Winn. We also firmly believe in the Hereafter, when all of mankind shall return to the Creator of all that exists, and He will inform each of them about their errors and judge them accordingly, either by His Justice, or with His Mercy.

Fair Minded People of All Faiths Are Requested to Read The Prophet of Mercy'

I believe that if fair-minded atheists, Hindus, Christians, Jews and followers of other Faiths read, The Prophet of Mercy, and evaluate the scientific approach used in it as compared to the confusion, distorted claims and filthy abuse offered in Winn's book, they will clearly identify with Truth and reject Falsehood.

Ignoring the Ignorant

Allah said in the Quran, what transliterated means, {and when they (believers) hear Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk), they withdraw from it and say: To us our deeds, and to you your deeds. Peace be to you. We seek not (the way of) the ignorant. Verily, you (O, Muhammad) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He wills. And He knows best those who are the guided}; [28:55-6].

Ignoring Craig Winn's collection of abuse and foul words that he used to describe Muhammad, peace be upon him, and Allah, the Creator of all that exists, is a good way to start, The Prophet of Mercy. While I will not return the abuse with the same, I will have to mention some parts of Winn's book in order to address them. I will also comment on various types of abuse Winn used and expose his claims as lies, distortions, dishonourable conduct, or deceit as need be.

Winn Describes His Book of Doom

In his, Letter to the Reader', Craig Winn says this, The critics of this work will claim that Prophet of Doom is offensive, racist, hatemongering, intolerant, and unnecessarily violent. I agree I, Jalal Abualrub, also agree with this much. Winn also said, Others will say that I cherry-picked the worst of Islam to render an unfair verdict. They will charge that I took the Islamic scriptures out of context to smear Muhammad and Allah. But none of that is true. I, Jalal Abualrub, disagree with Winn here, as I will explain, Allah willing.

First, nothing in Islam can be described as, its worst.

Second, following is initial evidence to the truth of what Craig Winn denies in his last paragraph, i.e., taking the Islamic Texts out of context. I remind the reader of Winn's earlier claim that the Quran does not have a context, and chronology, yet he issues a denial that he took the Islamic Scriptures out of context. Well, does the Quran, which is the true foundation of Islamic Scriptures, have a context or not?

Terror, Terrorist, Terrorism; Terror, Terrorist, Terrorism; etc.

I admit that reading through Winn's book is severely challenging: I have never seen a more confused and abusive book than, The Prophet of Doom. Winn criticizes, as he calls them, meaningless repetitions in the Quran, yet, rabidly repeated variations of the word terror' in his book. By using and repeating the word, terror' often, Winn seeks to use the emotions of his fellow Evangelists and others in the West. To them and to many others, terror', invokes memories of murder of non-combatant women, men and children, attacks on houses of worship and, of course, suicide missions committed with hijacked civilian airplanes, all played against a fantastic background filled with images of bearded Arab men shouting, Allahu Akbar , while committing these heinous acts.

Introductory Evidence to Winn's Flagrant Corruption of Islamic Texts Winn claims that he did not take the Islamic Scriptures out of context. This is the first proof that he did.

I Have Been Made Victorious With Terror

Craig Winn said in the prologue to his book of doom, Bukhari:V4B52N220: Allah's Apostle said, I have been made victorious with terror. The treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand.' Terror is Muhammad's legacy. His motivation was money.

This paragraph contains proof that Winn has corrupted the Islamic Message and deceived his readers. Winn is under the illusion that Muslims do not read their Scriptures. Otherwise, as Winn claimed in one of his emails to me, they would abandon their religion. To the contrary, it seems that Winn conveniently did not carefully read the Islamic Scriptures.

Clear Evidence While it is apparent that Winn used the Khan/Hilali transliteration on Bukhari, he abridged the translation of the Hadeeth's meaning to conveniently suit the outrageous comment he made afterwards. Further, it is clear that Winn did not have a clue as to why the Prophet said these words, i.e., the context of the Hadith. If he did not understand the context of the Hadith, then how can he claim to have not taken it out of context? Here is the explanation.

The True Context of the Hadith That Winn Corrupted

First, here is the full text of this Bukhari Hadith, as transliterated by Muhsin Khan and Taqi Ad-Din al-Hilali, Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy) , and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand. ' Abu Huraira added: Allah's Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).'

Winn conveniently reinvented the explanation of the word, terror', as put forth by two Muslim scholars, Dr. Mu`hsin Khan and Dr. Taqi ad-Din al-Hilali (Hilali died years ago). Where did, cast in the hearts of the enemy', go and why did Winn omit these words?

Muhsin Khan and Hilali inserted cast in the hearts of the enemy' in their transliteration of the Hadith mentioned above because unlike Winn, they are scholars who are knowledgeable in Islam. They researched the various narrations and words of explanation for this Hadith, before placing it in their book in a transliterated form. They know that so often, variations of a

Hadith narration complete the intended implication of it. Is not research' the essential ingredient in the sentence that reads, viable scientific research'?

Here are several variations for this Hadith as reported by al-Bukhari, Muslim ( Winn failed to recognize that the Hadith he quoted was also collected by Muslim ) and the teacher of al-Bukhari and Muslim, the eminent Imam of Sunnah and Hadith, Imam A`hmad Ibn Hanbal ash-Shaibani. Each of these narrations has a recorded, verifiable, continuous chain of narration ( Sanad ) that starts with the collector of the Hadith, in this case al-Bukhari, Muslim and A`hmad, passing through each collector's teacher(s), then his teacher(s), until the chain ends with the Prophet, peace be upon him. We only mentioned the name of the Prophet's companion who narrated each Hadith so to make this research as brief as possible.

a -- Bukhari 323 & Muslim 810: Jabir Ibn Abdullah reported that Allah's Prophet, peace be upon him, said, I was given victory through Ru`b the distance of a month.

b -- Bukhari 6483: Abu Hurairah said that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, I was given victory with Ru`b, and while I was asleep last night I was brought the keys to the treasures of the world and they were placed in my hand.

c -- A`hmad (6771) reported the Prophet's statement, collected from Abdullah Ibn Amr Ibn al-`Aas, Through Ru`b, I was given victory above the enemy: If the distance between me and my enemies were to be a month's journey, they will be filled with Ru`b from me.9

d -- A`hmad (20337) collected Abu Dharr's statement that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, I was given victory through Ru`b: the enemy becomes filled with Ru`b even though they are the distance of a month's journey away from me.

e A`hmad (21120) from Abu Umamah: the Prophet, peace be upon him, said, I was given victory through Ru`b the distance of a month: Allah throws it in the hearts of my enemies.

The Prophet, peace be upon him, said, I was given victory through Ru`b the distance of a month ahead of me and a month behind me.10

Even Without Translating, Ru`b', the Reader Can Easily Understand Its Intended Meaning

3 Thus, the Hadith is not talking about terrorism, as the world knows it today no thanks to Winn and his cheerleaders- but about fear from the Prophet that Allah placed in the hearts of his enemies . The fear of Muhammad in the hearts of his enemies was so great that even if the distance between them were as far away as a month's journey in proximity his enemies would still feel it. Some scholars of Sunnah, such as Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, who explained Sahih al-Bukhari in his book, Fat`h al-Bari

, stated that, apparently this favour was granted only to the Prophet, peace be upon him, as one of his special qualities ( Khususiyyah ), and this Khususiyyah of the Prophet worked even if he was not accompanied by an army.

Indeed, the narration for this Hadith contains these words, I was given five things that were never given to anyone before me I was given victory over the enemy through Ru`b, even if the distance between me and them were to be one month.

I was given victory through Ru`b the distance of a month ahead of me and a month behind me. Thus, if the distance between me and my enemies were to be a month's

journey, Allah will fill their hearts with fear from me.

5 Seeking the combined context of any Quranic Verse or Prophetic Hadith is a pre-requisite that any respectable researcher must fulfil before reaching a conclusion on the implication of that text. When Winn removed key segments of the Hadith under discussion, he corrupted its meaning. As for the context of the Hadith, here is one example pertaining to its meaning, taken from the very books that Winn considered holy' and inspired': the Seerah (history; autobiography) books.

Al-Waqidi said in his, Maghazi

, that Juwairiyah Bint al-Harith said, We were at the Muraisii` area when the Messenger of Allah marched forth towards us. I heard my father say, there has come to us a gathering that we cannot resist.' I saw men and horses in such numbers

that I cannot describe. After I became Muslim and the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, married me I looked at the Muslims and found their numbers to be less than what I had thought. I knew that this was Ru`b that Allah, the Exalted, throws in the hearts of the polytheists.'

There are many similar examples in which the enemies of Islam, who, just like the Muraisii` people, had gathered armies to attack Madina and the Prophet, scattered throughout the desert in fear when they heard that the Prophet had gathered an army to resist their treacherous attacks. Many lives were saved through Allah throwing fear in the hearts of the enemies of Muhammad, peace be upon them, because his enemies feared him, fled and did not meet him in battle. Thus, fear', in the Hadith worked the opposite of what Winn thought: he thought that it worked through acts of terror according to his diminished understanding- when in reality they saved Muslims and many of their enemies the hardship of battle and warfare.

Note how Winn conveniently distilled (i.e. omitted) the words while I was asleep and, the keys from the other section of the Hadith that states, While I was asleep last night I

was brought the keys to the treasures of the world and they were placed in my hand. By doing so, it would appear that the Prophet, peace be upon him, was seeking or wishing to acquire other people's wealth for himself. Contrary to this false illusion, this was a vision that the Prophet saw which contained glad tidings for the generations of Muslims to come. This is why in the same Hadith, Abu Hurairah added, as al-Bukhari and Muslim reported from him, Allah's Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them). Winn also conveniently distilled this part from the transliteration of the Hadith as reported by Khan and Hilali.

Winn's Shameful Slander of the Prophet of Islam

Had the Prophet, peace be upon him, wanted money, he could have acquired as much as he wished. Towards the end of his life, and for several years, he, peace be upon him, was the undisputed leader of Arabia, including Yemen and the southern parts of the Syrian Desert. By reading the Seerah by Ibn Is`haq, the sections reporting the many delegations that came to the Prophet from various Arab tribes surrendering to his leadership and announcing their Islam, one will come to the rightful conclusion that Arabia submitted to the Prophet's leadership

years before he died. Since unlike Muslims, Winn considered Ibn Is`haq's seerah holy' and inspired', then one should seek inspiration from this part of Ibn Is`haq's Seerah, as well.

When the Prophet, peace be upon him, died, he did not leave anything behind, neither a Dinar (a currency), nor a Dirham (a currency), or a male or a female slave; he left only his white mule on which he used to ride, and his weapons, and a piece of land which he gave in charity for needy travellers; [al-Bukhari (2534) reported this statement (Hadith) from Amr Ibn al-Harith, the Prophet's companion]. As for Muslim, he collected this Hadith (3087) from the Prophet's beloved wife, Aishah: Allah's Messenger (May peace be upon him) left neither Dinar nor Dirham (cash), nor goats (and sheep), nor camels. And he made no will about anything (in regard to his material possessions, as he had none).

Muhammad, peace be upon him, did not spend the money before he died, either. Aishah, his beloved wife said, We used to see three crescents in two months, and no fire used to be made in the houses of Allah's Apostle (i.e. nothing used to be cooked). " `Urwah, her nephew, said, " What used to sustain you? " `Aisha said, " The two black things: dates and water, except that Allah's Apostle had neighbors from the Ansar who had some milk she-camels; they used to give the Prophet some milk from their house, and he used to give us from it to drink ; [al-Bukhari (2379) and Muslim (5282)]. Al-Bukhari (5976) also reported that Qatadah said, We were in the company of Anas (The Prophet's servant and friend) whose baker was with him. Anas said, Eat! I do not recall the Prophet, peace be upon him, seeing thin bread until he met Allah, or seeing a roasted sheep until he met Allah (died).'

This was Muhammad, peace be upon him, whom Craig Winn shamelessly slandered. Imam A`hmad (1710511 ) reported that while describing the Prophet's guidance and standard of character to the people of Egypt, the Prophet's companion Amr Ibn al-`Aas said, He was the most Zahid among the people. Zahid', means that he was disinterested in this world's material possessions. This is how Amr Ibn al-`Aas himself explained the word in this authentic ( Sahih ) Hadith.

This is only one example, of many more to come, Allah willing, of how Winn corrupted the Islamic Texts. He altered the meaning of various Hadith and stories, by blending them together into one, i.e. omitting the parts that do not support his outrageous claims.

3 -- Isaiah 19, 1. The burden of Egypt. Behold, the Lord rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it 17. And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself , because of the counsel of the Lord of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

4 -- Jeremiah 32, 21. And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror ; 22. And hast given them this land , which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey.

The second example clearly indicates a meaning for `terror` not found in the Prophet's Hadith mentioned above. The second and fourth examples do not talk about a vision or keys of treasures; they talk about actual treasures to be possessed, which were later possessed.

Winn's Blender Should be patented

In his Letter to the Leader', Craig Winn claims the following, Five of my twelve translations of the Quran were combined to create the most accurate conveyance of the message possible. However, the writing quality is so poor, the proofreaders of this manuscript suggested that I help Allah and Muhammad out by cleaning up their grammar, punctuation, and verbosity.

It is a fact that all of the original manuscripts of the books that Craig Winn quoted in his book of doom were written in Arabic, not English. The Quran is entirely in Arabic, and the authors of the Seerah (Maghazi), Tareekh (History), Tafsir (Meaning of the Quran) and Hadith (Prophetic Tradition) that Craig Winn relied on never spoke a word of English. And in Islam, divine status is assigned to the Book of Allah, the Quran, which is described as this, { And verily, it is an honourable well-fortified respected Book. Falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it, (it is) sent down by the All-Wise, Worthy of all praise (Allah) }; [41:41-2]; and also to the authentic Prophetic Sunnah, which is described in the Quran as this, { Nor does he (Muhammad, peace be upon him) speak of (his own) desire. It is only a Revelation revealed }; [53:3-4].

When Arabic is transliterated into English, the accuracy or lack of it- in part or all of the transliteration is the responsibility of the translator, not Allah or Muhammad, peace be upon him. The same is true for errors made in their grammar, punctuation and verbosity. Therefore, inserting the name of Allah, the Lord of all that exists, and Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, in this disgraceful manner tells volumes about the standard of character of Winn and his comedian proofreaders. They should refine' their humour by consulting Rush Limbaugh on which type of drug to use that they may ascend the level of their humour to a higher' elevation, literally.

It is Winn, not Allah or Muhammad, who made this blend' of a book and ended up with a horrible manuscript. Neither Allah nor Muhammad made the grammatical errors that Winn and his proofreaders claim to have uncovered; Winn, his neo-proofreaders and the translators he quoted from their books did.

Since it is Winn who claims to have blended five translations (actually translations of the meaning) of the Quran into one, then he should not complain about the poor standard of grammar of his manuscript. If one blends different transliterations for five different translators, or groups of translators, who naturally- conclude their research using their own

preference, choice of words, understanding and perceptions, all a reflection of their standard of knowledge, one will end up with a manuscript that contains as many grammatical errors and poor writing quality as Winn have. What if one used Winn's pathetic method of blending by combining five versions (with great emphasis on the word versions ') of the Bible, including the Catholic and the King James versions, will the Bible fare well in this case and will it contain all the chapters that one started with?

Tau`heed (Islamic Monotheism) is Pagan While Trinity is Monotheistic?

Craig Winn said, Islam is a caustic blend of regurgitated paganism and twisted Bible stories.

Sure! Would Winn's description of Islam as being a caustic blend of regurgitated (a sophisticated' Winn term that means, repetitive') paganism be supported by the fact that for

one to become and remain- Muslim, one must declare the following statement, La Ilaha Illa-Llah (None has the right to be worshipped, except Allah) , and then keep sincere faith in it until death? Numerous Hadith assert the facts mentioned here, including those collected by Imam at-Tirmidhi specifically mentioning the words, with sincerity'; [ Jami` at-Tirmidhi : 3514 (also al-Albani's, Sahih at-Tirmidhi : 2839)].

Winn does not like the name Allah' and does not think it describes the Creator of everything, but a pagan deity. Therefore, the reader is encouraged to read how Allah is described in the Quran and judge if this fits the description of a pagan deity or properly describes the Lord of all that exists using the Name His creation calls Him by.

Allah said in the Quran, what transliterated means, { He is Allah, beside whom Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen. He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. He is Allah, beside Whom Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) , the King, the Holy, the One Free from all defects, the Giver of security, the Watcher over His creatures, the All-Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme. Glory be to Allah! (High is He) above all that they associate as partners with Him. He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorify Him. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise }; [59:22-4].

Winn claims to have arrived at the most accurate conveyance of the message possible. ' Indeed. Winn did not corrupt the Islamic Texts. He only corrupted the entire religion of Islam and the most fundamental aspect of it, Tau`heed, Monotheism, the Faith in the One and Only Creator of all that exists. In Surat al-Ikhlas (chapter 112 in the Quran), Allah said, what transliterated means, { Say (O Muhammad) : He is Allah, (the) One. Allâh-us-Samad (the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need; He neither eats nor drinks) . He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him

}. Further, Allah said in the Quran, { And recite to them the story of Ibrâhîm (Abraham) . When he said to his father and his people: What do you worship? They said: We worship idols, and to them we are ever devoted. He said: Do they hear you, when you call on (them ) ? Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you) ? They said:

(Nay) but we found our fathers doing so. He said: Do you observe that which you have been worshipping you and your ancient fathers? Verily, they are enemies to me, save the Lord of the Âlamîn (all that exists) , who has created me, and it is He who guides me. And it is He who feeds me and gives me to drink. Allah is the Moon God?

Evangelicals are so desperate to convince the general public of Islamic evilness that one website of theirs ( http://www.biblebelievers.org.au/moongod.htm ) actually suggested that Allah is the Moon-God, and thus, Muslims worship the moon. They must mean the same moon about which the Quran declares this, { And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate yourselves not to the sun, nor to the moon, but prostrate yourselves to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him }; [41:37]. These people are utterly blatant and will stop at nothing, including lying in a shameful way, to defame Islam. This Quranic Verse refutes their article in its entirety, and we will soon refute the minor parts of it, Allah willing.

Before KJV of the Bible Was Ever Written, There Were Arabic Bibles Calling the Lord by His Name, Allah'

Craig Winn does not like to call Allah by His Name, Allah'. However, the name Allah' is found in all the Arabic Bibles that have been printed in the West in tens of millions- by Evangelical Christians and freely distributed in poor Arab and Muslim countries to preach the Monotheistic Gospel to pagan Muslims! I know that Allah' is the name used in these Arabic Bibles, because I received several of them when I was living in Kuwait . I read various copies of the Arabic Gospel12 about a dozen times, in addition to the dozen times in which I read various English Bibles. I do not claim to have become a scholar on the Bibles, because to be as such, one certainly needs more than 10,000 hours.

Did Jesus Ever Call the Lord by, God'?

Matthew 27:46 states, And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

If Muslims are challenged to bring forth the original Arabic words of their Holy Book, the Quran, they will produce a copy of it that is perfectly identical to every other copy that Muslims have in any other part of the world. Can Christians or Jews accomplish the same fete regarding the Two Testaments?

I challenge the readers, Craig Winn and all of Christendom and Judaism to produce a single original manuscript of the Torah or the Gospel with stress on the word, original '. If anyone is ever able to successfully respond to this challenge, that original copy will most certainly be in a language other than English and will not contain the word, God' to describe the Creator.

How can God', be Closer in Pronunciation to, Elohiym', Il', Ilu', Ilah', than Allah'?

God', Was Never Used in Any Ancient Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek or Latin Judaeo-Christian Scripture Manuscripts

This is an extraordinary, clear testimony regarding the etymology of the Word, God', that is found in, The Catholic Encyclopedia : ( http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/06608x.htm ) . Catholicism, much older and much larger than Protestantism, is also the largest Christian religion in the present time. The only comments made here was that I bold-faced and underlined certain sections of this article to emphasis their content.

Etymology of the Word God': (Anglo-Saxon God; German Gott; akin to Persian khoda; Hindu khooda ). God can variously be defined as : the proper name of the one Supreme and Infinite Personal Being, the Creator and Ruler of the universe, to whom man owes obedience and worship; the common or generic name of the several supposed beings to whom, in polytheistic religions, Divine attributes are ascribed and Divine worship rendered ; the name sometimes applied to an idol as the image (http://www.srch-results.com/lm/rtl.asp?k=the%20image) or dwelling-place of a god . The root-meaning of the name (from Gothic root gheu; Sanskrit hub or emu, "to invoke or to sacrifice to") is either "the one invoked" or "the one sacrificed to." From different Indo-Germanic roots (div, "to shine" or "give light"; thes in thessasthai "to implore") come the Indo-Iranian deva, Sanskrit dyaus (gen. divas), Latin deus, Greek theos, Irish and Gaelic dia, all of which are generic names; also Greek Zeus (gen. Dios, Latin Jupiter (jovpater), Old Teutonic Tiu or Tiw (surviving in Tuesday), Latin Janus, Diana, and other proper names of pagan deities. The so-called holy' Islamic books that Winn claims to have relied on while writing his book are much older historically than any English Bible that contains the word God' and came into existence centuries before the King James Version of the Bible13.

The Arabs, children of Prophet Ishmael (Isma`el), and the Israelites, children of Prophet Jacob (Ya`qub), are cousins, being the children of Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim), as the Bible itself declares. Genesis 16:1-15 , states, 1. Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar 3. And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife14 15. And Hagar bare Abram a son: and Abram called his son's name, which Hagar bare, Ishmael. Further, Elohiym', is Hebrew for, Allah'. Abraham was an Arab, from Iraq (Babylon) and the Hebrew people are his descendants, just as the Arabs. The Hebrew legacy started with Abraham ( Genesis 14: 13 , Abram the Hebrew. ) and the children of Israel. The Arabic Language is much older than the Hebrew, and the Creator has always been called, Allah', in Arabic.

Conclusion: the Name of the Creator is, Allah', not, God'. Craig Winn slandered his Creator, the True Creator of everything and everyone, including Jesus and his mother.

Love Thy Enemy ; Whosoever Shall Smite Thee on Thy Right Cheek, Turn to Him the Other Also

Winn continues, by saying, Muhammad, its lone prophet, conceived his religion solely to satiate his lust for power, sex, and money. He was a terrorist.

How perfect' of Winn to say this about the beloved Prophet of more than one-fifth of humanity. Here is a gift to Winn from Jesus, who said, as in Matthew 5:43-48 , 43. Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45. That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust 48. Be ye therefore perfect , even as you re Father which is in heaven is perfect. Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was that perfect person whom Jesus described in these words, and better. Soon after he conquered Makkah, the Prophet, peace be upon him, set free the Makkan people who led armed opposition and aggression against him and against Islam for twenty-one years.

Is Western Media Secular', or Judaeo-Christian'

Western media, which tediously professes democracy and freedom to the world, clearly shows how little it really believes in these Western ideals. Hateful and ignorant writers, such as Winn, have free access to Western media, yet the doors of access are completely shut to any and every practicing Muslim who has knowledge in Islam and may wish to explain or defend it. Islam and Muslims are being demonized on a daily basis in Western media, which has become a major culprit in this terrible crime and outright religious discrimination. To them, freedom', never included Muslims.

Therefore, I doubt that I can reach a fraction of the audience that Winn is able to reach in this Land of the Free. Of course, there is nothing free in the Land of the Free; everything is for money. I once challenged another fanatical enemy of Islam, Neil Boortz , to a debate about Islam. He declined the offer, but angrily indicated his astonishment at my challenging him to a free' debate. Translated, he wanted money, asked for money and declined to respond to my emails afterwards because I did not offer him money. Truth does not need money. Truth always prevails.

Mein Kampf' is the German Version of the Quran'; Hitler' Means Muhammad' in German

Winn continues his, Letter to the Reader', by saying, I have elected to present Islam's original source material in juxtaposition to my evaluation of its veracity. This format is similar to that used by the first English translators of Mein Kampf as they attempted to warn America about the dangers lurking in Hitler's manifesto. They, as I, found it necessary to hold the author accountable. A great deal was at stake then, as it is today. The last time the world was ignorant of such a hateful and violent doctrine, 55 million people died.

Thus, we conclude the following from Winn's distinctive rhetoric: Winn can actually use juxtaposition' in a complete sentence; Mein Kampf' is the German version of the

Quran'; and Hitler' means Muhammad' in German. Winn is not alone in proclaiming this utter ludicrousness.

Was Hitler a Muslim Who Took Instructions From the Quran?

The fact is that Hitler was neither an Arab nor a Muslim; he was an European Christian, raised by European Christians and lived his entire life among European Christians. And the 55 million people Winn is referring to died in the horrific Second World War that countries of the Christian World, which by then had militarily occupied most of the earth, waged against each other in deadly competition for other peoples' territories and treasures. Muslims did not have any role in this terrible war. They were fast asleep at that time. Just like the First World War, the Second World War was started mainly by Christians and fought mainly by Christians. Hitler did not read the Quran while ordering the great slaughter of men, women and children. The Quran was not on his mind when he awarded crosses as medals to his murderous officers, while standing under flags bearing the crooked cross ( Swastika ), which was the symbol of his state. Hitler did not continue the Islamic legacy of slaughtering Jews, such as happened on Good Fridays15, which were not that good for Jews; there is no such Islamic legacy and Muslims do not believe in Good Friday. Hitler continued the centuries old Christian legacy of slaughtering Jews like sheep, because according to the Bible16, the Jews killed the Christian lord and saviour.

What type of hypocrisy is this? Was the Vatican a Muslim church when it stood silent and, in fact, aided the Nazis in committing their terrible atrocities? Who issued this apology: ( http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/religion/jan-june98/vatican_4-8a.html ), Last month (i.e., March 1998), the Vatican issued a 14-page report that apologized for the Catholic Church's silence during the Holocaust. Following a background report, Margaret Warner and guests (http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/religion/jan-june98/vatican_4-8.html) discuss the apology and its historic significance.

Margaret Warner said, Close to six million Jews17 were killed in the Holocaust, imprisoned in concentration camps, gassed in chambers, and buried in mass graves. The perpetrators were Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime. But historians have long questioned whether others--including the Catholic Church--did all they could to save Europe's Jews from extermination. Some historians also have argued that centuries of Catholic teachings against the Jewish religion--teachings that included blaming the Jews for Christ's death--contributed to a climate in Europe in which anti-Semitism could flourish Pius XII became Pope in 1939. Under his leadership, the Vatican maintained a position of strict neutrality in World War II. The Pope was largely silent about the Nazi atrocities critics found his public silence shameful John Paul II, who became Pope in 1978, took steps to ease tensions between Catholics and Jews And in 1987, he ordered a study on Catholicism, anti-Semitism and the Holocaust. How convenient it is for the Christian Church to claim that the Shoah' was the work of a neo-pagan regime! According to their own logic, these Christian nations: the Germans, the Austrians, the Polish, the French, the Romanians, the Italians, the Swiss , and so forth, who not only stood silent, but also actively aided in rounding up Jews, stole their property and gold and sent them to death camps, were all members of this neo-pagan regime. No! Hitler might not have killed a single civilian Jew himself. The rounding up and deportation, theft of property and actual killing were carried out by hundreds of thousands of European Christians. They were not all Nazis or members of a neo-pagan sect. These atrocities were carried out against members of the very race, the very followers of the very religion that Christians have slaughtered and murdered throughout their history: the Jews. Even if Hitler had renounced his Christianity, it is highly unlikely that all the culpable European Christian nations and individuals that aided in exterminating the Jews followed suit. They were happy that someone was finally doing away with the Jews. Was the Christian church itself a convert to this neo-pagan regime too?

Winn is not alone in uttering this monstrous absurdity. Among his colleagues is Bill O`Reilly, who seems to be in total love with his voice, his face and the rest of himself. He is a talk show host18 who invites various qualified experts to his show, yet keeps talking almost the entire time, interrupting the experts and arguing with them as if he is more of an expert on every topic than the real experts are on any topic. Sometimes, the camera focuses on the expressions on the faces of the experts, or O'Reilly's guests, who show amazement at the sort of things that O`Reilly utters. Even O`Reilly likens the Quran to Mein Kampf!

O`Reilly may have forgotten the terrible, lying words he uttered about the Quran, a book he never read or studied, but Allah did not forget what O`Reilly said about His Book. And if her allegations were proven to be true, O`Reilly will be added to the list of the enemies of Islam who defamed Muhammad, peace be upon him, to later fall from a status of honour and grace they falsely proclaim for themselves to the true level of dishonour and shameless conduct they are drowned in, such as was the case with Jimmy Swaggart ( http://news.bbc.co.uk/onthisday/hi/dates/stories/february/21/newsid_2565000/2565197.stm ).
