You can’t become famous if you hide like this! If you can do such wonderful things, show yourself to the world!” For even his brothers didn’t believe in him. John 7:3-5

After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time…then He appeared to James; 1 Corinthians 15:6-7

The dreaming self, subject as it is to the accidents of experience, must not be confused with the true self", [Encyclopedia Britannica, XII.248

Issue #1: Understand Suffering People try to avoid it… or deny it… or get bitter about it…

It is not true that suffering ennobles the character; happiness does that sometimes, but suffering, for the most part, makes men petty and vindictive. – W. Somerset Maugham, Of Human Bondage, Penguin, ch. 17, p. 64

To love is to suffer. To avoid suffering, one must not love. But, then one suffers from not loving.

…Therefore, to love is to suffer, not to love is to suffer, to suffer is to suffer. To be happy is to love, to be happy, then, is to suffer, but suffering makes one unhappy, therefore, to be unhappy one must love, or love to suffer, or suffer from too much happiness — I hope you’re getting this down. – Woody Allen

…so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1:4 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:30-31
