We will create and maintain a developmentally appropriate environment for learning while empowering families to participate in and enhance their children’s education. The academic curriculum offers all courses required by the State of Texas for the mastery of standards for each grade level. About Our School: Bonham Early Education Center is a two-way dual language school with full implementation. Bonham is currently in its third year as a Grand Prairie Program of Choice. n Prekinderdarten n Rachel’s Challenge campus n School-wide Two-Way Dual Language Campus n Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities (PPCD) n PBAT – We house our district’s Play Based Assessment Team n CARE Class – Classroom for students with Autism and Related Exceptionalities n SMF Class – Classroom for students that are Severely Medically Fragile n PICS Class – Preschool Program for Improving Communication Skills n Two-Way Dual Language Tuition Class n Inclusive Tuition-Based Class n GPISD Employee Daycare n PACT – (Parent and Child Time Together for families) n Enrichment Classes for Parents (e.g. Nutrition, Money Management, Ingles sin Barreras) n Family Involvement Nights (e.g. Literacy Camp Out) n Leadership League (partnership with 5th Grade Center) n Annual Multicultural Health Fair n Adult Literacy Program n Unique Student Assessment System – Students assessed two times a year with CPAA (Children’s Progress of Academic Assessment), parent conferences and interventions based on the unique needs of each student n Partnership with TCU for annual speech screening of all students n Students assessed with Woodcock-Muñoz to monitor development of language in both English and Spanish n Comprehensive guidance program addressing the unique needs of young learners innovate. educate. graduate
