James Nader’s photographs are used in many types of media, Nader’s photographs could/might be seen on billboards, magazines, catalogues and websites.

This photograph is very colourful, this is good because the people looking at the photograph can see the whole thing clearly. The photograph uses deep focus meaning the background and frontground are both in focus, this will lead to people’s attention to focus on more than one thing pictured in the photograph. This photograph is also a little bit humorous to the viewer/s as it is unusual that one child is wearing actually clothes and the other is wearing a Darth Vader costume.

This photograph is not used in colour but used in black and white, this is a different photograph to the others because of its colour. The photograph is taken at a low angle shot meaning the photographer took the photograph looking up. This photograph uses deep focus as this photograph would’ve been taken in the morning or afternoon as taking a black and white photograph at night wouldn’t work so well.

This photograph uses a little bit of humour towards the audience, as both children are dressed like their street children (older teenagers might dress like this more) and both laying on a car. The background uses shallow focus as it is supposed to be photographed at night and some of the background is not in focus and therefore the viewer/s cannot see some other props in the background.

This photograph was taken in present times but the clothing, setting and props used in the photograph make the photograph look like it was taken in the 1950s. This photograph uses deep focus as the background and frontground are both visible and not blurry meaning the whole photograph is visible to see. The viewer/s would focus on more than one thing in the photograph, for example, you may be focused on the car behind the man more than the man himself.

This photograph uses shallow focus as the background is nearly impossible to see clearly. The photograph would also use fast shutter speed to capture the water hitting the rocks, if the photographer used slow shutter speed if may have looked a bit blurry. The woman whose photograph is being taken is shown a bit

faded to the left with just her face. The woman is photographed in shallow focus as the viewer/s would be able to see clearly.
